Kinetics of oxidation of indigo carmine by potassium peroxydisulfate [PDF]

The reaction is first order in potassium peroxydisulfate and zero order in Indigo Carmine. Hydrogen ions have no effect on the rate in the acidity range of 0.0–0.2 M. Allyl acetate inhibits the reaction. A radical chain mechanism is proposed.

TP53 Loss Elevates NF‐κB‐IFN‐β‐MHC‐Ia Signaling to Promote NK Cell Resistance in Osteosarcoma

TP53 loss in a transforming or osteosarcoma cell promotes cytosolic DNA accumulation, activating NF‐κB‐dependent IFN‐β production. Autocrine IFN‐β signaling increases cell‐surface HLA‐Ia expression, strengthens inhibitory KIR signaling in natural killer cells, and thereby enables the affected cell to evade NK cell‐mediated cytotoxicity.

Abstract Premise Desert plant assemblages in southern California provide an opportunity to link patterns of community structure with climate‐driven vulnerability in a rapidly changing environment. California sustains an exceptionally diverse flora of approximately 4300 plant species, with 31% identified as endemic.

The Influence of Ultraviolet Radiation, Ozonation, and Ultrasonic Field on the Effectiveness of Dye Removal from Aqueous Solutions

This study presents an analysis of the effectiveness of the removal of three dyes, Indigo Carmine, Tartrazine, and Allura Red AC, using advanced oxidation methods. The research showed low efficiency in removing these dyes using acoustic waves.
