The Use of Indigo Carmine for Dye Dilution Curves [PDF]
Investigation of the properties of indigo carmine reveals that it may be more suitable than the dye, T-1824, for circulatory studies that are now commonly carried out using the dye dilution principle of Stewart and Hamilton. Comparison is made of simultaneous dilution curves of indigo carmine and radioactive iodinated serum albumin.

Preparation of MOEAMCl and MAAm Based Hydrogels and Effective Use in Anionic Dye Adsorption
ABSTRACT In this study, hydrogels based on [2‐(Methacryloyloxy)ethyl]trimethylammonium chloride (MOEAMCl) and methacrylamide (MAAm) were synthesized for the removal of anionic dyes from aqueous solutions. Following detailed characterization, the use of hydrogels for methyl orange (MO) adsorption was investigated.

Partners or passengers? Revisiting the association between diatoms and aquatic animals
ABSTRACT Numerous studies have revealed the importance of research on the communities capable of colonizing animal surfaces (epibionts) and the animals on which they live (basibionts). Very few studies have considered epizoic diatoms, and there are gaps and biases in our knowledge, including the choice of basibionts, the methods used, and the habitats ...

Thermo‐sonication parameters were optimized to maximize PPO inactivation while maintaining overall juice quality. ANFIS demonstrated superior predictive accuracy with higher R2 and lower RMSE compared to RSM. Further, the quality assessment of treated juice highlighted the potential of thermo‐sonication as a sustainable alternative to conventional ...

ERA5 Can Overstate Changes in the Frequency of Extreme Heat: A New Zealand Case Study
ERA5 reproduces broad patterns of summer warming across New Zealand but underestimates temperature variability and warm‐tail extremes, biasing estimates of extreme heat risk. ABSTRACT Summertime temperature extremes exert profound impacts on human health, ecosystems, and infrastructure, yet their characteristics and drivers remain poorly quantified in ...

RETRACTED: Surface modified composite nanofibers for the removal of indigo carmine dye from polluted water [PDF]
Surface coated magnetite nanoparticles (Fe3O4 NPs) with 3-mercaptopropionic acid were immobilized on amidoximated polyacrilonitrile (APAN) nanofibers using electrospinning followed by crosslinking.

Effects of Straw Incorporation and Tillage Depth on Soil Quality in Mollisol Profiles
ABSTRACT Although improvements in soil quality under straw incorporation have been well documented, responses across soil profiles under different tillage depths remain unclear. To address this issue, a field experiment was established in 2011 in Mollisols with conventional tillage (20 cm depth) without straw (CT) and with straw (SCT), no tillage with ...
