ACAT1‐Mediated SP1‐K694 Lactylation Promotes M1 Macrophage Polarization via TREM1 Transcription in COPD

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Upon cigarette smoke exposure(CSE), LDHA expression is increased in lung macrophages, promoting the conversion of pyruvate to lactate and elevating the lactylation level of SP1 at the K694 site. This, in turn, enhances SP1 enrichment at the TREM1 promoter, increases TREM1 expression, promoted M1 macrophage polarization, and triggers the secretion of ...

Diagnostic performance of ELISA kits and expanded antigen panels for hemagglutination inhibition assays in pig herds enzootically infected with porcine Influenza A viruses

open access: yesPorcine Health Management
Background A combined approach using both indirect and direct detection methods can improve the diagnostic efficiency of swine Influenza A virus (swIAV) infections. Despite its importance, limited research has been conducted on the diagnostic performance

Characterization of a novel B-cell epitope in the structural protein of goose astrovirus 1 and its application in serological detection

open access: yesPoultry Science
Goose astrovirus 1 (GAstV-1) is an emerging pathogen responsible for gosling gout and has caused substantial economic losses in the goose industry, particularly during frequent co-infections with goose astrovirus 2 (GAstV-2) that exacerbate pathogenicity.

Detection of Candida albicans Sap2 in cancer patient serum samples by an indirect competitive enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the diagnosis of candidiasis

open access: yesIndian Journal of Pathology and Microbiology, 2013
Background: The secreted aspartyl proteinases 2 (Sap2) of Candida albicans (C. albicans) is a potential marker of candididasis. It is a virulence factor associated with adherence and tissue invasion.

Blue Light Receptor PHR2‐Mediated Spectrum Antiviral Immunity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Blue light suppresses RBSDV through the blue‐light receptor ZmPHR2, which interacts with ZmISP in chloroplasts to trigger ROS burst and antiviral defense. The viral effector P6 enhances ZmPHR2–ZmISP interaction, alters their distribution, and suppresses ROS.

The diagnostic value of the circadian rhythm gene KLF10 in anxiety‐depressive disorders and its neuroimmune regulatory mechanisms

open access: yesAnimal Models and Experimental Medicine, EarlyView.
This graphical abstract illustrates the protective role and molecular mechanism of the circadian rhythm‐related gene KLF10, identified as a diagnostic biomarker and therapeutic target in anxiety‐depressive disorder. Model establishment and phenotypes: An anxiety‐depression model was successfully established by chronic restraint stress combined with ...

Preparation of monoclonal antibody against chloramphenicol and establishment of direct competitive ELISA for determination of chloramphenicol

open access: yes浙江大学学报. 农业与生命科学版, 2010
Through immunization of BALB/c mice with synthesized CAP-ovalbumin (CAP-OVA), a hybridoma cell line, the 4C9 which could produce monoclonal antibody against chloramphenicol (CAP) and propagate stably, was established.

Blood SOD1 Activity in ALS Patients Receiving Tofersen Treatment

open access: yesAnnals of Neurology, EarlyView.
Objective The antisense oligonucleotide tofersen is the first disease‐modifying drug for SOD1‐related amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and was approved because of its ability to reduce SOD1 protein and neurofilament levels. The effect of tofersen on SOD1 activity is unclear but of clinical relevance because homozygous SOD1 mutations, linked to ...

Development of an ELISA and Immunochromatographic Strip for Highly Sensitive Detection of Microcystin-LR

open access: yesSensors, 2014
A monoclonal antibody for microcystin–leucine–arginine (MC-LR) was produced by cell fusion. The immunogen was synthesized in two steps. First, ovalbumin/ bovine serum albumin was conjugated with 6-acetylthiohexanoic acid using a carbodiimide EDC (1 ...
