B Cells are Activated via a Nanoporous Interface that Stabilizes Microvilli and Engages Mechanosensitive Ion Channels

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
B cells can be activated independently of antigen recognition via mechanical stimulation through nanoporous substrates. Exposure to such substrates induced B cell microvilli extension into the pores, intracellular Ca2+ signaling, phosphorylation of signaling proteins, and CD69 expression.

Preparation of polyclonal antibody against dicamba and establishment of indirect competitive ELISA for dicamba detection

open access: yes浙江大学学报. 农业与生命科学版, 2012
In order to establish the immunoassay method of dicamba(DIC), the diimine carbonization methods were used to synthesize immunogen and coating antigen by dicamba being conjugated to ovalbumin (OVA) and bovine serum albumin (BSA), respectively.

Ion‐Driven Regulation of Ca2+ Flow by Ti/Zn Composite Activates ERK/MAPK Signaling and Maintains Mitochondrial Homeostasis to Promote Macrophage‐Mediated Bone Regeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A 3D‐printed interpenetrating Ti/Zn composite enables sustained Zn2+ release to regulate intracellular Ca2+ redistribution, preserve mitochondrial homeostasis, activate ERK/MAPK signaling, and promote M2 macrophage polarization, thereby enhancing osteoimmune‐mediated bone regeneration and peri‐implant osseointegration.

METTL7A Downregulation Drives SLC1A5‐Mediated Glutamine Competition to Promote Tumor Proliferation and Suppress CD8+ T Cell Immunity in Gastric Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
GC cells enhance glutamine accumulation by upregulating SLC1A5 expression. This upregulation not only boosts GC cell proliferation, but also outcompetes CD8+ T cells for glutamine and suppresses their antitumor immunity. Mechanistically, METTL7A deficiency in GC induces SLC1A5 overexpression via an m6A‐dependent pathway and N‐glycosylation ...

Myeloid p38 activation maintains macrophage–liver crosstalk and BAT thermogenesis through IL‐12–FGF21 axis

open access: yesHepatology, EarlyView., 2022
Physiological activation of myeloid p38 controls macrophage IL‐12 production and crosstalk to the liver by modulating hepatic FGF21, and subsequently, brown adipose tissue thermogenesis during obesity Abstract Obesity features excessive fat accumulation in several body tissues and induces a state of chronic low‐grade inflammation that contributes to ...

COMPARISON OF COMPETITIVE ELISA AND AGAR GEL IMMUNODIFFUSION TEST FOR DETECTION OF ANTIBODIES TO BLUE TONGUE VIRUS [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, 2002
The agar gel iminunodiffusion (AGID) test is the widely used test for detection of group specific Blue Tongue Virus antibodies (Jochim, 1985).

Development and Characterization of a Monoclonal Antibody against Ochratoxin B and Its Application in ELISA

open access: yesToxins, 2010
A monoclonal antibody specific to ochratoxin B (OTB) was employed for the development of an indirect competitive OTB-ELISA. The optimized OTB-ELISA resulted in a limit of detection (LOD) for OTB of 3 µg/L (8 nM), a limit of quantification (LOQ) of 3.7 µg/

Nucleoside‐Modified mRNA Encoding Alpha‐Galactosidase A Ameliorates Fabry Disease Phenotypes in Human IPSC‐Derived Cardiomyocytes

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Human iPSC‐derived Fabry cardiomyocytes exhibited broad transcriptional dysregulation, apoptosis, mitochondrial dysfunction, impaired reactive oxygen species handling, altered contractility, and abnormal calcium transient decay, potentially mediated by phospholamban hyperphosphorylation.

Development of a sensitive competitive indirect ELISA for parathion residue in agricultural and environmental samples

open access: yesEcotoxicology and Environmental Safety, 2009
A sensitive competitive indirect enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) for the insecticide parathion was developed. The optimal immunogen was 5-(ethoxy(4-nitrophenoxy)phosphorothioylamino)pentanoic acid. In addition, five competitors were applied for development of a heterologous competitive indirect ELISA.

WTAP Transcriptional Suppression by KLF9 Drives Osteoclastogenesis via M6A‐Mediated Regulation of CSF1R Signaling in Estrogen‐Deficient Osteoporosis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Scheme of the KLF9/WTAP/YTHDF2/m6A/CSF1R regulatory axis in osteoclastogenesis and estrogen‐deficient osteoporosis. WTAP‐mediated m6A modification of Csf1r mRNA governs osteoclastogenesis via a YTHDF2‐mediated pathway. Pathological upregulation of KLF9 drives Wtap transcription, leading to increased m6A deposition on the 3’‐UTR of Csf1r mRNA.
