FPGA-Based Space Vector Modulation of an Indirect Matrix Converter

open access: yesEletrônica de Potência, 2019
The insertion of powers sources onto the grid require an energy processing stage between generator and electrical grid, which adapts amplitude and frequency levels for alternating current (AC) quantities. The Indirect Matrix Converter is a candidate for

Finite Set Model Predictive Control of a Dual-Motor Torque Synchronization System Fed by an Indirect Matrix Converter

open access: yesEnergies, 2021
In the dual-motor torque synchronization system fed by an indirect matrix converter (IMC), a finite set model predictive control (FCS-MPC) strategy based on a standard quadratic cost function was proposed to solve the open-loop problem of the torque ...

Analysis of High-Frequency Common Mode Component Characteristics of Common Mode Peak Voltage Suppression Method for Indirect Matrix Converter

open access: yesEnergies, 2022
A variety of modulation strategies for suppressing output common-mode voltage (CMV) of indirect matrix converters (IMC) have been proposed, but most of them mainly reduce the peak of CMV by 42.3%. The frequency-domain characteristics of CMV have not been

A Dynamic Voltage Restorer based on Matrix Converter with Fuzzy Controller

open access: yesAdvances in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, 2012
In this paper, a Dynamic Voltage Restorer (DVR) without any energy storage devices is proposed to compensate network voltage during disturbances. This DVR utilizes a matrix converter in its topology which eliminates the DC-link capacitor of conventional ...

Epigenetic blind spots – the role of DNA methylation dynamics in stem cell‐based models of embryogenesis

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Embryo‐like structures (stembryos) are an innovative tool, but they are hindered by experimental variability and limited developmental potential. DNA methylation is crucial for mammalian development, but its status in stembryo models is poorly characterized.

Rab14 regulates the transport of human papillomavirus to the trans‐Golgi network for infectious cell entry

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This study reveals that the small GTPase Rab14 is necessary for human papillomavirus (HPV) infection and plays an essential role in the transport of virions to the trans‐Golgi network (TGN). HPV in the early endosome (EE), which harbors GTP‐bound Rab14, is transported to the TGN through the switch of Rab14 from its GTP‐bound to GDP‐bound form.
