Dual‐Function Interface Engineering for δ‐Phase‐Free Crystallization Toward Efficient and Stable FAPbI3 Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work presents a dual‐function interface engineering strategy using PEACl to suppress the formation of the non‐perovskite δ‐FAPbI3 phase at the critical SnO2 buried interface. This approach enables the direct crystallization of the photoactive α‐phase, yielding highly efficient and stable rigid (25.6%) and flexible perovskite solar cells with ...

Fixed-Bed Adsorption of Gallium and Indium from EoL CIGS Leachates on Extractant-Mesoporous Carbon: Integrated Experimental Simulation Approach

open access: yesSurfaces
Although the exponential increase in photovoltaic installations does contribute to mitigating climate change, it has posed the problem of photovoltaic (PV) residue. As PV panels contain strategic metals, their recovery has become a priority.

Synthesis of Water-Soluble Copolymers of N-vinylpyrrolidone with N-vinyldithiocarbamate as Multidentate Polymeric Chelation Systems and Their Complexes with Indium and Gallium

open access: yesMolecules, 2020
Dithiocarbamate (DTC) derivatives of N-vinylpyrrolidone-N-vinylamine (VP–VA) copolymers were synthesized via reaction between the copolymers and carbon disulfide in alkaline medium; molecular masses of the products were 12 and 29 kDa; the VP:VDTC ratios ...

Indium-Mediated Synthesis of Benzylic Hydroperoxides

open access: yes, 2019
An indium(0)-metal-mediated efficient synthesis of benzylic hydroperoxides is described. The reaction proceeds efficiently with a broad range of benzyl bromides under aerobic conditions at room temperature to afford benzyl hydroperoxides in good to ...

Dual‐Inductive and Programmable Switching: A New Paradigm in Ionic Interface‐Controlled Perovskite Memory

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A fully programmable, dual‐inductive switchable halide perovskite memristor is demonstrated through precise BDAI2‐mediated interface engineering. This ion‐modulating layer suppresses stochastic filamentary growth, enabling stable, non‐filamentary switching via dynamic barrier modulation.

Indium-mediated 2-oxonia cope rearrangement of 1,4-dienols to 1,3-dienols [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
An indium-mediated isomerization of 1,4-dienols to 1,3-dienols is described. This procedure consists of the addition of pentadienylindium, in a protic solvent, to aldehydes giving the kinetic γ-allylation product in high yields. The subsequent conversion

Indium-Catalyzed Annulation of o-Acylanilines with Alkoxyheteroarenes: Synthesis of Heteroaryl[b]quinolines and Subsequent Transformation to Cryptolepine Derivatives

open access: yesMolecules, 2018
We disclose herein the first synthetic method that is capable of offering heteroaryl[b]quinolines (HA[b]Qs) with structural diversity, which include tricyclic and tetracyclic structures with (benzo)thienyl, (benzo)furanyl, and indolyl rings.

Exciton Binding Energy of Phosphorescent Emitter Molecules in Organic Light‐Emitting Diodes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Energy level alignment is key to efficient OLED design, yet determining LUMO energies remains challenging. A methodology based on field‐induced dissociation and kinetic Monte Carlo simulations is presented to extract LUMO energies of iridium‐based phosphorescent emitters from their exciton binding energy.
