Polymorphism and Ferroelectricity in Indium(III) Selenide

Chemical Reviews, 2023
Two-dimensional indium(III) selenide (In2Se3) is characterized by rich polymorphism and offers the prospect of overcoming thickness-related depolarization effects in conventional ferroelectrics. α-In2Se3 has attracted attention as a ferroelectric semiconductor that can retain ferroelectricity at the monolayer level; thus, it can be potentially deployed

Electrodeposition of indium selenide in2se3

Journal of Electroanalytical Chemistry, 1996
Indium selenide has been prepared by electrodeposition from indium sulphate and selenious acid solutions at 22 and 82°C. The deposits were analysed chemically and the films were characterised by anodic stripping, X-ray diffractometry and optical measurements. The reactions occurring during the process were studied.

Optical gain in gallium selenide and indium selenide

Physica B+C, 1981
Abstract The stimulated emission at 80 K from layered single crystals of GaSe and InSe has been studied at high excitation density by means of nitrogen and dye laser, respectively. On both the semiconductors we observe the stimulated emission associated with exciton-exciton scattering.

Photoconductivity of Indium selenide

Vacuum, 1953
Indium selenide layers have been formed by successive evaporations of indium and selenium and by direct evaporation of indium selenide. The films are photoconductive with a long wavelength cutoff at about 2 microns and peaks in their spectral response at 0.6 and 1.4 microns. A different time constant is associated with each peak.

Intriguing electronic properties of germanene/ indium selenide and antimonene/ indium selenide heterostructures

Journal of Solid State Chemistry, 2019
Abstract The structural and electronic properties of the germanene/indium selenide (Ge/InSe), antimonene/indium selenide (Sb/InSe) heterostructures and the effects of in-plane strains on their electronic structures are investigated by performing comprehensive DFT calculations. The results show that the hybridization of the interbedded Se- and Ge- (Sb-
