Optical and photovoltaic properties of indium selenide thin films prepared by van der Waals epitaxy
Indium selenide thin films have been grown on p-type gallium selenide single crystal substrates by van der Waals epitaxy. The use of two crucibles in the growth process has resulted in indium selenide films with physical properties closer to these of ...

The Interaction of Hydrogen with the van der Waals Crystal γ-InSe
The emergence of the hydrogen economy requires development in the storage, generation and sensing of hydrogen. The indium selenide (γ-InSe) van der Waals (vdW) crystal shows promise for technologies in all three of these areas.

Wafer‐scale two‐dimensioanl In2Se3 oxidized into InOx on sodium‐embedded beta‐alumina enables multifunctional reconfigurable electronics. Sodium ions accumulate within distinct spatial distribution under drain‐controlle and gate‐controlled operation. Drain‐control operation gives controllability of ultraviolet‐driven optoelectronic synaptic conductance

Maximizing Thermoelectric Figures of Merit by Uniaxially Straining Indium Selenide
A majority of the electricity currently generated is regrettably lost as heat. Engineering high-efficiency thermoelectric materials which can convert waste heat back into electricity is therefore vital for reducing our energy fingerprint.
