Photolysis of indoline

Bulletin of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR Division of Chemical Science, 1986
The quantum yields of photodissociation and fluorescence of a solution of indoline in heptane were determined for various wavelengths. The quantum yield of photodissociation increases with increasing excitation energy.

Spectroscopy and Photophysics of Indoline and Indoline-2-Carboxylic Acid

The Journal of Physical Chemistry A, 2003
This paper presents a detailed description of the fluorescence and photophysical behavior of indoline and indoline-2-carboxylic acid (I2CA). Indoline is an analogue of indole lacking the C2C3 double bond, but unlike indole, indoline possesses well-separated 1La and 1Lb states.

Isopropylation of indoline

Chemistry of Heterocyclic Compounds, 1991
The composition of the reaction products was ascertained, and the kinetics of the alkylation of indoline with isopropyl alcohol in 90% sulfuric acid at 60‡C were studied. The reactivities of indoline and its carbocyclic analogs are compared.

Indolines made easy

C&EN Global Enterprise, 2019
Chemists don’t have great options if they want to make molecules containing indoline—a scaffold featuring a benzene ring fused to a nitrogen-containing five-membered ring.

Tetracyclische α-amino-indoline

Tetrahedron, 1964

Scavenging of reactive oxygen species by novel indolin‐2‐one and indoline‐2‐thione derivatives

Biopolymers, 2005
AbstractThe antioxidant behavior of a series of new synthesized substituted indoline‐2‐ones and indolin‐2‐thiones was investigated in this study using an oxygen radical absorbance capacity assay (ORAC$_{ROO\mathop{\bullet}^{\!\!\!\!-}}$) and 2,2′‐azobis(2‐amidino‐propane) dihydrochloride (AAPH) as the radical generator; system generating superoxide ...

Recent advances in indoline synthesis

Tetrahedron, 2019
Abstract Indoline is an important structural motif present in several biologically active compounds from both natural and synthetic origins. The occurrence of this heterocyclic unity in these compounds is closely related to the biological activities they exhibit.
