ABSTRACT Background Children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) are at risk of severe outcomes from SARS‐CoV‐2 (SCV2). In the post‐pandemic context, where most children have been infected with SCV2, there are limited data on whether vaccination remains beneficial in children with ALL.

Systematic map of the literature on carbon lock-in induced by long-lived capital
Long-lived capital-stocks (LLCS) such as infrastructure and buildings have significant and long-lasting implications for greenhouse gas emissions. They contribute to carbon lock-in and may hinder a rapid decarbonization of energy systems. Here we provide

ABSTRACT Immune effector cell‐associated hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis‐like syndrome (IEC‐HS) is a life‐threatening hyperinflammatory toxicity distinct from cytokine release syndrome (CRS) and neurotoxicity following chimeric antigen receptor T‐cell (CAR‐T) therapy. In a single‐institution retrospective cohort of pediatric and young adult patients

Background/Aims: We previously demonstrated that transforming growth factor-β (TGF-β) stimulates the synthesis of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) through the activation of p38 mitogen-activated protein (MAP) kinase in osteoblast-like MC3T3-E1 ...

Mapping the parameters of prion-induced neuropathology [PDF]
We present a theoretical framework that enables us to dissect out the parametric dependencies of the pathogenesis of prion diseases. We are able to determine the influence of both host-dependent factors (connectivity, cell density, protein synthesis rate, and cell death) and strain-dependent factors (cell tropism, virulence, and replication rate).

The Role of Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation in Ataxia‐Telangiectasia
ABSTRACT Background Ataxia‐telangiectasia (A‐T) is a DNA repair disorder characterized by neurodegeneration, immunodeficiency, and cancer predisposition. Hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT) is an established therapy in related disorders such as Fanconi anemia (FA) and Nijmegen breakage syndrome (NBS), but its role in A‐T is unclear.

All spaces are metrizable. The authors study the general question how properties of induced hyperspace maps can be translated in terms of properties of the original map, and vica versa. A continuous function \(f: X\to Y\) is said to be an MO-mapping provided that it can be written in the form \(f= f_1\circ f_2\) such that \(f_1\) is open and \(f_2\) is
