Active membrane recycling induced morphology changes in vesicles
Membranes of organelles in the intracellular trafficking pathway continuously undergo recycling through fission and fusion processes. The effect of these recycling processes on the large-scale morphology of organelles is not well understood.

Membrane curvature induces cardiolipin sorting [PDF]
AbstractCardiolipin is a cone-shaped lipid predominantly localized in curved membrane sites of bacteria and in the mitochondrial cristae. This specific localization has been argued to be geometry-driven, since the CL’s conical shape relaxes curvature frustration. Although previous evidence suggests a coupling between CL concentration and membrane shape

Cargo induces retromer-mediated membrane remodeling on membranes
Endosomes serve as a central sorting station of lipids and proteins that arrive via vesicular carrier from the plasma membrane and the Golgi complex. At the endosome, retromer complexes sort selected receptors and membrane proteins into tubules or vesicles that bud off the endosome. The mature endosome finally fuses with the lysosome.

Critical-size bone defects up to 25 cm can be treated successfully using the induced membrane technique established by Masquelet. To shorten this procedure, human acellular dermis (HAD) has had success in replacing this membrane in rat models. The aim of

Membrane Buckling Induced by Curved Filaments
We present a novel buckling instability relevant to membrane budding in eukaryotic cells. In this mechanism, curved filaments bind to a lipid bilayer without changing its intrinsic curvature. As more and more filaments adsorb, newly added ones are more and more strained, which destabilizes the flat membrane.

Induced membrane technique in the treatment of infectious bone defect: A clinical analysis.
BACKGROUND At present, it is still a challenge for repairing a wide range of bone defect caused by various reasons. We aimed to investigate the effect of induced membrane technique in the treatment of infectious bone defect.
