Negative inductance simulator using OTRA

2016 International Conference on Microelectronics, Computing and Communications (MicroCom), 2016
In this paper single operational transresistance amplifier based lossless grounded negative inductance simulator topology is presented. The proposed circuit employs only single OTRA and four passive elements. The circuit is studied for nonideality and high frequency self compensation is achieved. Theoretical propositions are verified by simulation.

IGSPICE simulation of induction machines with saturable inductances

IEEE Transactions on Energy Conversion, 1989
A novel approach to the dynamic analysis of induction machines with saturable inductances is presented. The machine dynamics are represented by a set of nonlinear time-varying differential equations. The machine parameters (i.e. saturable inductances) are modeled by closed-form nonlinear functions.

Simulation of Inductive Loads

2007 IEEE International Symposium on Industrial Electronics, 2007
This paper presents the development of a highspeed bidirectional current source module which allows the simulation of inductive loads. Due to its full four-quadrant operation capability, the module is able to simulate realistic current waveforms of AC motors.

Simulated inductance standard

Conference Digest Conference on Precision Electromagnetic Measurements, 2003
We propose in this paper a technique for emulating standard inductors with a tee network of two resistors and capacitor and with buffer in feedback circuit. Unwanted impedances to ground of the emulating tee network may be canceled by introducing a buffer.

Computer simulation of induction hardening

Journal of Materials Processing Technology, 2004
The computer simulation of electromagnetic, thermodynamic and microstructural transformations in treated work-piece is usually recommended for the exact definition of working parameters in process planning of the induction hardening processes. A special simulation program has been developed for the axially symmetric work-pieces.

Inductance simulation using MOS transistors†

International Journal of Electronics, 1970
Simulations of an inductance by simple circuits, using one or more MOS transistors, capacitors and resistors, are given. The inductance obtained is up to 1 mHy but of low Q for the single MOST circuit. Addition of a second MOST causes a frequency-dependent but stable negative conductance to appear in parallel with the inductance.

Inductance simulation using GaAs MESFETs

IEEE. APCCAS 1998. 1998 IEEE Asia-Pacific Conference on Circuits and Systems. Microelectronics and Integrating Systems. Proceedings (Cat. No.98EX242), 2002
This paper proposes a method for an inductance simulation by using GaAs MESFET devices. The realization method is based on the use of a GaAs voltage-to-current transducer and is also suitable for implementation in monolithic integrated circuit form. The circuit has wide bandwidth, good linearity and the simulated inductive reactance value is a linear ...

The Induction and Refresher scheme Simulated Surgery

Education for Primary Care, 2012
The Induction and Refresher scheme Simulated Surgery (I&RSS) is an assessment of clinical and consulting skills in which candidates are observed consulting with a series of simulated patients who present a variety of common GP scenarios. The Committee of GP Education Directors (COGPED) recommends a period of induction for GPs returning to practice ...

Vibration Damping Using CCII-Based Inductance Simulators

IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement, 2008
In this paper, we present an application of second- generation current-conveyor (CCII)-based active inductance simulators to mechanical vibration damping. The oscillation amplitude of a metallic beam, which is near some resonant frequencies, can be reduced by converting mechanical energy into electrical energy through a piezoelectric transducer that is

Simulation of Symmetrical Induction Machinery

IEEE Transactions on Power Apparatus and Systems, 1965
The effectiveness of an analog computer in studying the performance of induction machinery is demonstrated with computer results which show the dynamic behavior of 2-phase and 3-phase machines during balanced and unbalanced operation. The computer simulation for these various modes of operation is conveniently obtained from the equations which describe
