High-inductance simulator for calibration purposes

Measurement Techniques, 1997
A simulator of high inductance (L=10 H) based on a capacitor switching circuit is described. The dependence of the Q factor on the compensation error of the resistive component in various inductance simulation circuits is analyzed. Capacitor switching circuits are shown to have a much higher Q than resistive RC circuits.

Multiphysics simulation of induction soldering process

2018 IEEE 7th World Conference on Photovoltaic Energy Conversion (WCPEC) (A Joint Conference of 45th IEEE PVSC, 28th PVSEC & 34th EU PVSEC), 2018
Product and process optimization has been enhanced by simulation in the course of digitalization. In PV industry this is done from wafer to complete module systems to obtain quality, reliability and sustainability. Within this work one of the key production steps - the (induction) soldering process - is represented digitally by multiphysical simulation.

Resistorless floating inductance simulation using CCCTAs

2016 13th International Conference on Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications and Information Technology (ECTI-CON), 2016
This paper presents the simple realization of the resistorless floating inductance simulation circuit based on using current-controlled conveyor transconductance amplifier (CCCTA). The proposed inductance simulator is realized by using only two CCCTAs and one capacitor without needing an external passive resistor.

Simulation of phase-controlled induction motors

Mathematics and Computers in Simulation, 1975
The authors introduce a new method for simulating phase-controlled induction motors. This method consists of utilizing the general model of the motor, referred to the equivalent two-phase machine, and of applying suitable input signals when the current is switched-off in one or more windings.

Simulation of Active-only Floating Inductance

Frequenz, 1998
A simple circuit for realizing active-only lossless floating inductor is presented. The circuit uses only two active elements ; a dual output operational transconductance amplifier and an internally compensated operational amplifier. The circuit is suitable for monolithic implementation in either bipolar or MOS technologies.

Natural variable simulation of induction machines

AFRICON 2009, 2009
A method for obtaining natural variable model of induction machines (IM) is presented. The variables of the model are electromagnetic torque (T e ), reactive torque (T r ), magnitude of rotor flux linkage (λ r ), magnitude of stator flux linkage (λ s ), and rotor speed (ω r ). These variables do not change in any reference frame of transformation.

Fatigue Induction in Simulated Driving

2019
The induction of passive fatigue in simulated driving environments with non-sleep-deprived drivers is an important requirement for all studies of this thesis dealing either with the detection or with the mitigation of passive fatigue.

Displacement inductive sensor: Simulation tool algorithm

IEEE EUROCON 2009, 2009
This paper presents a planar displacement inductive sensor for the detection of small displacements (less than 0.5 mm) in a plane, usable in robotics. It also describes design, realization and the input inductance measurement of the sensor. Displacement in two directions could be detected using two sensor elements.

Active inductance simulation with grounded condensers

International Journal of Circuit Theory and Applications, 1975
AbstractA technique is presented for grounding the condensers of active RC networks, which requires an additional difference amplifier stage per capacitor grounded. A generalized grounded capacitor (GC) circuit is derived for simulating a grounded inductance and it is shown that the GC‐versions of the circuits proposed by Prestcott, Rao–Venkateswaran ...
