Simulation of inductive heating
Induction heating can be described by a heat transfer equation, where the heat is generated through ohmic losses from eddy currents induced by varying electromagnetic fields. In general tliis phenomenon will have to be described by two coupled equations, because most of the material properties are temperaturedependent ([3,4,14]).

Integrated through-silicon-via-based inductor design in buck converter for improved efficiency
Introduction. Through-silicon-via (TSV) is one of the most important components of 3D integrated circuits. Similar to two-dimensional circuits, the performance evaluation of 3D circuits depends on both the quality factor and inductance.

An Inductive Method to Select Simulation Points
The time for processor simulation can be drastically reduced by selecting simulation points, which are such dynamic sections from execution program that the overall behavior for the program can be estimated by simulating only for thoses sections. Existing methods to select simulation points such as SimPoint, are deductive, selects simulation points ...

‘Inductance’ definitions, modeling, and simulation [PDF]
The nonlinear behavior of the B-H relationship of a ferromagnetic material gives rise to two different types of permeabilities: ‘total permeability’ and ‘derivative permeability’. These are used in this study to define three inductances of a current dependent inductor that is built around a ferromagnetic core: ‘total inductance’, ‘derivative ...
