Research on the Capillary Filling Behavior of Liquid Solder Al-12Si under the Action of Electromagnetic Ultrasonic Wave

open access: yesApplied Sciences
To address the issues of high cost, low welding efficiency, and complex processes in vacuum brazing, we proposed a method of electromagnetic ultrasonic (EU)-assisted brazing with Al-12Si solder to join SiC ceramic and TC4 alloy.

Diffusion bonding and brazing of high purity copper for linear collider accelerator structures

open access: yesPhysical Review Special Topics. Accelerators and Beams, 2001
Diffusion bonding and brazing of high purity copper were investigated to develop procedures for joining precision machined copper components for the Next Linear Collider (NLC). Diffusion bonds were made over a range of temperatures from 400 °C to 1000 °C,

Application of External Electromagnetic Forces for Resistance Spot Welding of Р6М5 Instrumental Steel Parts

open access: yesНаукові вісті Національного технічного університету України "Київський політехнічний інститут", 2017
Background. Joining of working part of the instrument using mechanical methods or brazing doesn’t ensure its good fixation and isn’t technologically reasonable for mass production purposes.

Dual‐Function In Situ Ti3(Cu,Al)3O Reinforcement for Simultaneous Strengthening and CTE Reduction in Sapphire/TC4 Active‐Brazed Joints

open access: yesRare Metals, Volume 45, Issue 4, April 2026.
ABSTRACT The thermal expansion mismatch between sapphire and Ti‐6Al‐4V (TC4) alloy has traditionally limited the shear strength of ceramic‐metal joints to ≤ 170 MPa. In this study, active brazing with Ag‐35.25Cu‐1.75Ti (wt%) leads to the formation of a dual‐function microstructure, wherein uniformly dispersed submicron Ti3(Cu,Al)3O particles embedded ...

Data pertaining to induction brazing of contact materials in a 3 layered sandwich structure consisting of a silver-tin oxide (Ag-SnO(II)) layer, a silver (Ag) inter-layer and a thin layer of phosphorous free braze-A4-TUD

open access: yes, 2020
Contact materials for electrical switch gears are widely used for connecting and disconnecting electric circuits. These contacts are two component systems, where the contact tips are brazed to the carriers prior to installation.

Multifaceted Behavior and Functional Versatility of Ferritic Stainless Steels, Part I: Applications and Processing, a Review

open access: yessteel research international, Volume 97, Issue 3, Page 1201-1225, March 2026.
This review investigates the processing‐microstructure‐property relationships in ferritic stainless steels (FSSs). It highlights advances in deformation behavior, heat treatments, surface modifications, and alloying effects. Theoretical models, including Johnson‐Mehl‐Avrami‐Kolmogorov, Arrhenius, nucleation theory, and diffusion theories, are discussed
