Induction Brazing

open access: yes, 2003
Induction brazing is a fast and appropriate method for industrial joining of complex geometries and metal combinations. In all types of brazing processes it is important to heat the joint interface of the two materials to the same, high temperature.

Microstructural Evolution and Mechanical Performance of Plasma‐Assisted Hybrid Friction Stir Welded Dissimilar Aluminum–Copper Joints

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, Volume 28, Issue 3, 4 February 2026.
Plasma‐assisted hybrid friction stir welding of dissimilar AlCu joints employs localized plasma preheating to balance heat input and enhance plastic flow. The optimized process reduces axial force by up to 35%, refines the microstructure, and achieves ≈96% joint efficiency.

Silver Alloy Brazing with Induction Heating

open access: yesTransactions of The Electrochemical Society, 1944
Silver alloy brazing is discussed in connection with the use of induction heating as the method of heating. Alloys employed, joint design, together with design of coil, are thoroughly reviewed. With low temperature (700° C) silver brazing alloys there are definite advantages in using induction heating : The operations are extremely simple and uniform ...

Finite element analysis of residual stress in fine-grained diamond powder during induction brazing

open access: yesHanjie xuebao
Due to the irregular broken shape of fine-grained diamond powder and the large difference in linear expansion coefficients between the diamond and filler metal, residual stress is prone to occur at the interface of diamond tools during brazing, which ...
