From Staff Satisfaction Surveys to Strategic Action: A Novel Framework for Organisational Learning in Hospitals

open access: yesKnowledge and Process Management, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study explores how healthcare organisations translate satisfaction survey feedback into organisational knowledge to support organisational learning and knowledge‐based improvement. Hospitals widely use satisfaction surveys to gather feedback from healthcare professionals; however, limited research explains how feedback processes become ...

A low-cost inductive proximity sensor for industrial applications

open access: yesSensors and Actuators A: Physical, 2004
In this paper,we present an inductive proximity sensor with fully integrated electronics. The sensor with the compact hybrid configuration is composed of a sensing flat coil and an integrated electronic interface. We focused during the development on the temperature stability and robustness of the sensor by keeping its low-fabrication cost.

A dual-mode proximity sensor with combination of inductive and capacitive sensing units

open access: yesSensor Review, 2018
PurposeThe purpose of this paper is to present a dual-mode proximity sensor composed of inductive and capacitive sensing modes, which can help the robot distinguish different objects and obtain distance information at the same time. A systematic study of sensor response to various objects and the function of cooperation sensing is needed.
