The Disturbance of Inductive Proximity Sensor for Mobile Robot
Advanced Materials Research, 2014Non-contactingproximity sensors are widely promoted for position detection through determiningthe distance between sensor and object. Besides, the usage of non-contactinginductive proximity sensors for object detections such as finding non-ferrousand ferrous metal tape is the popular technique in mobile robots.

Coin recognition using an inductive proximity sensor microsystem
Proceedings of International Solid State Sensors and Actuators Conference (Transducers '97), 2002We have realized metallic profile imagery of coins using a miniaturized inductive proximity sensor. The sensor is a microsystem composed of a 1 mm diameter coil and a new ASIC interface based on the principle of a differential relaxation oscillator. This imagery is appropriate for coin pattern recognition.

A novel architecture for inductive proximity sensors using sigma delta modulation
ESSCIRC 2007 - 33rd European Solid-State Circuits Conference, 2007This paper presents a novel architecture for inductive proximity sensors using sigma delta modulation. The LC-oscillator is included in the sigma delta control loop providing amplitude regulation and high precision analog-to-digital conversion in one block.

Inductive proximity sensors network in intelligent clothes
2017 E-Health and Bioengineering Conference (EHB), 2017We propose a new method for assessing of gait parameters using inductive sensors that are embedded in clothes. An experimental model was developed in order to prove the method positioning two planar inductive sensors near the knee. The acquired signals from sensors are clearly and could be used for gait analyses without the need of filtering.

New inductive proximity sensor platform for precise localization of small colorectal tumors
Materials Science and Engineering: C, 2020Location of small gastric or colorectal tumors during a laparoscopic procedure is often imprecise and can be misleading. There is a real need for a compatible and straightforward tool that can be used intraoperatively to help the surgeon in this regard.

Development of planar inductive sensor for proximity sensing based on LTCC
2016 39th International Spring Seminar on Electronics Technology (ISSE), 2016This paper is focused on design and realization of the planar inductive sensor system used for proximity sensing based on Low Temperature Co-fire Ceramics (LTCC). Planar coil consisting of six layers was designed, produced and measured. Electronic system for driving coil and processing measured values was developed and realized.

A LTCC low-loss inductive proximity sensor for harsh environments
Sensors and Actuators A: Physical, 2012Abstract Proximity and position measurements with eddy current sensors are limited by the quality factor of the sensing coils. By enlarging the conductor path cross section, the quality factor can be increased. On ceramic multilayer substrates such cross sections, which are considerably larger in comparison to screen printed thick films, can be ...

Progress and Recent Realizations of Miniaturized Inductive Proximity Sensors for Automation
IEEE Sensors Journal, 2006Noncontacting inductive proximity sensors (IPSs) are widely preferred for position detection in industrial applications. Advances in computer-aided design simulation tools, integration, and assembly techniques for the last ten years have made possible continued sensor-feature improvements in parallel to size reduction toward very small miniaturized ...

Noncontacting inductive sensors are applicable on a large scale for position detection or travel measurement in industrial applications. Reasons for such broad acceptance in many sectors of industry are noncontact and wear-free sensing of the target (any metal object), reliability and robustness, resistance to fouling, water tightness and compact size.
