Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Hysteretic Regulators with Partially-Saturated Inductors
This paper investigates the performances of partially-saturated ferrite power inductors in DC-DC hysteretic regulators. Exploiting inductors saturation allows reducing the volume and weight of switch-mode power supplies, provided that inductors ripple ...

To enhance the power density of LLC resonant converters, multilayer planar inductors are required. However, multilayer planar inductors have high parasitic capacitance, which may cause inductor current ringing in LLC resonant converters, leading to EMI ...

Unified ZVS strategy for DAB with triple-phase-shift modulation in boost mode
In this study, the switching mode and working waveform of dual active bridge (DAB) converter under triple phase-shift modulation scheme is analysed, and an ALL-ZVS (zero voltage switching) control strategy of all devices for full-power range with voltage

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Fractional modelling and simulation for single-phase PWM rectifier
Modelling and analysis of single-phase PWM rectifier are usually based on integer order calculus theory, regardless of the fractional characteristics of inductors and capacitors, which will bring a deviation with the real system.

Ultra-Small, High-Frequency, and Substrate-Immune Microtube Inductors Transformed from 2D to 3D
Monolithic on-chip inductors are key passive devices in radio frequency integrated circuits (RFICs). Currently, 70–80% of the on-wafer area of most RFIC chips is occupied by the sprawling planar spiral inductors and its operation frequency is limited to ...

Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

COMP–PMEPA1 axis promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition in breast cancer cells
This study reveals that cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in breast cancer. We identify PMEPA1 (protein TMEPAI) as a novel COMP‐binding partner that mediates EMT via binding to the TSP domains of COMP, establishing the COMP–PMEPA1 axis as a key EMT driver in breast cancer.
