The Effect of Institutional Pressures and Business Incentives on the Level of Corporate Compliance System Implementation

open access: yesCorporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The risk of noncompliance with societal requirements, internal policies, and industry standards can damage a company's reputation and image. There may be institutional pressures and firm incentives and characteristics that drive the implementation of a compliance management system (CMS).

Finding Catalyst Design Principles for Oxygen Evolution using High‐Throughput Optimizations and Electrochemical Symmetry

open access: yesChemSusChem, EarlyView.
Water electrolyzers for green H2 production may be massively used if suitable catalysts for O2 evolution are found. Alas, adsorption‐energy scaling relations have led to uncertain catalyst design heuristics. Here, high‐throughput scaling‐free and scaling‐based optimizations are performed while tracking electrochemical symmetry.

Predicting the Uniform Electron Gas Stopping Power at Moderate and Strong Coupling

open access: yesContributions to Plasma Physics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This paper presents a detailed study of the stopping power of a homogeneous electron gas in moderate and strong coupling regimes using the self‐consistent version of the method of moments as the key theoretical approach capable of expressing the dynamic characteristics of the system in terms of the static ones, which are the moments.

Rapid detection and quantification of ultralow‐concentration nanoparticles based on nanopore array blockage

open access: yesDroplet, EarlyView.
We developed a nanopore array strategy based on nanoparticle blockage for rapid detection and quantification of ultralow‐concentration nanoparticles. Using hydraulic force, nanoparticles are driven through an array of pores smaller than the nanoparticles, and optical microscopy tracks blockage progression to obtain quantitative concentration ...
