Cross‐Scale Hierarchical Targeted Delivery System Based on Small‐Scale Magnetic Robots
This article reviews a cross‐scale hierarchical targeted delivery system that integrates magnetic continuum robots and magnetic microrobots. By combining rapid long‐range navigation with precise microscale targeting, the system overcomes key limitations of single‐scale approaches.

Calibration of an inertial measurement unit
2013 16th International Conference on Advanced Robotics (ICAR), 2013This paper presents a fast and low cost way to calibrate different inertial measurement sensors. In particular the calibration of an accelerometer and a gyroscope using nonlinear least squares is presented. A model of the sensors which includes the main errors that MEMS devices present is used. A calibration method is proposed for estimating the static

Automatic calibration for inertial measurement unit
2012 12th International Conference on Control Automation Robotics & Vision (ICARCV), 2012The nine degrees-of-freedom (DOF) inertial measurement units (IMU) are generally composed of three kinds of sensor: accelerometer, gyroscope and magnetometer. The calibration of these sensor suites not only requires turn-table or purpose-built fixture, but also entails a complex and laborious procedure in data sampling.

Analysis and modelling of MEMS inertial measurement unit
2012 International Conference on Localization and GNSS, 2012Thanks to advances in the development of Micro-Electromechanical Systems (MEMS), it has been possible to fabricate small dimension and cheap accelerometers and gyros, which are being used in many applications where the GPS/INS integration is carried out, as for example to identify track defects, navigation, geo-referencing, agriculture, etc.
