A novel polybromide complex of bismuth – (Et4N)3{[Bi2Br9](Br2)}: synthesis and structural features

© 2018 The polybromide complex (Et4N)3{[Bi2Br9](Br2)} was obtained by reaction of [BiBr6]3–, Br2 and tetraethylammonium bromide in 2 m HBr. In its crystal structure, bioctahedral [Bi2Br9]3– anions are connected by neutral Br2 linkers into infinite 1D chains via terminal bromide ligands.

Temperature dependence of the exchange bias properties in polycrystalline BiFeO3/Ni80Fe20

In this study, we report a temperature dependent analysis of the exchange bias properties in BFO/Py bilayers as a function of the BFO thickness. The temperature dependence of the exchange bias field (He) and the coercive field (Hc) are first presented.

Magnetic granulometry and Mössbauer spectroscopy of FemOn–SiO2 colloidal nanoparticles

Based on the data obtained with transmission electron microscopy and dynamic light scattering, a lognormal size distribution of nanoparticles with an average size of 20–30 nm have been constructed.
