Reactive Infectious Mucocutaneous Eruption (RIME): An Australian Case Series

open access: yesAustralasian Journal of Dermatology, Volume 67, Issue 4, Page 241-246, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Whilst Reactive Infectious Mucocutaneous Eruption (RIME) displays a low mortality rate, the condition results in significant morbidity and resource allocation, including prolonged hospital admission. As such, early diagnosis and optimisation of treatment is imperative.

Construction and Immunogenicity of Novel Chimeric Virus-Like Particles Bearing Antigens of Infectious Bronchitis Virus and Newcastle Disease Virus

open access: yesViruses, 2019
Infectious bronchitis virus (IBV) and Newcastle disease virus (NDV) are two poultry pathogens seriously affecting the poultry industry. Here, IBV S1 and the ectodomain of NDV F proteins were separately linked with the trans-membrane and carboxy-terminal ...

The role of dog keeping in the home microbiota and its impact on children's health

open access: yesPediatric Allergy and Immunology, Volume 37, Issue 6, June 2026.
Abstract Background Children with dog contacts in early childhood are healthier and use less antibiotics during the first year of life. We have earlier identified dog‐associated bacterial and fungal signals in house‐dust microbiota. The aim of this study was to determine whether these signals in house dust mediate the dog keeping associated positive ...

Molecular Clocks in Translational Roadmap for Circadian‐Based Therapeutics in Lung Diseases

open access: yesThe FASEB Journal, Volume 40, Issue 10, 31 May 2026.
High‐amplitude circadian oscillations maintain lung immune and epithelial homeostasis. Chronic inflammation dampens peripheral clock amplitude, driving chronodisruption, barrier dysfunction, and remodeling. Clock‐targeted therapies re‐entrain the lung circadian clock, restore rhythmic immune resolution, and promote functional lung repair.

The proteome of the infectious bronchitis virus BeauR Virion The proteome of the infectious bronchitis virus Beau-R virion

open access: yes, 2020
Infectious bronchitis is a highly contagious respiratory disease of poultry caused by the coronavirus infectious bronchitis virus (IBV). It was thought that coronavirus virions were composed of three major viral structural proteins until investigations ...

Molecular epidemiology and evolution of avian infectious bronchitis virus [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Mutation and recombination processes are involved in the genetic and phenotypic variations of RNA viruses, leading to the emergence of new variant strains, and give rise to virus population diversity to be modeled by the host, particularly by the immune ...
