Pathogenicity of a QX-like avian infectious bronchitis virus isolated in China
Avian infectious bronchitis is a serious and highly contagious disease caused by infectious bronchitis virus (IBV). We isolated a highly virulent IBV strain (CK/CH/JS/TAHY) from kidneys of diseased chickens.

Analysis of an immunodominant region of infectious bronchitis virus.
Abstract We analyzed the antigenic fine-structure of an immunodominant region in the peplomer protein of infectious bronchitis virus. This region near the N-terminus of the S2 subunit is recognized by polyclonal antisera and by the majority of mAb that cross-react with denatured protein.

Novel CRISPR/Cas13- based assay for diagnosis of avian infectious bronchitis [PDF]
Infectious bronchitis is an acute respiratory disease of poultry associated with reduced egg production and heavy economic losses in chicken flocks. Rabid and accurate detection of IB virus (IBV) is essential for controlling and preventing the infection.
