Time-delayed feedback control of the Dicke-Hepp-Lieb superradiant quantum phase transition [PDF]
We apply the time-delayed Pyragas control scheme to the dissipative Dicke model via a modulation of the atom-field-coupling. The feedback creates an infinite sequence of non-equilibrium phases with fixed points and limit cycles in the primary ...

Infinite Horizon Optimal Control of Stochastic Delay Evolution Equations in Hilbert Spaces
The aim of the present paper is to study an infinite horizon optimal control problem in which the controlled state dynamics is governed by a stochastic delay evolution equation in Hilbert spaces.

The impact of frailty syndrome on skeletal muscle histology: preventive effects of exercise
Frailty syndrome exacerbates skeletal muscle degeneration via increased ECM deposition and myofiber loss. This study, using a murine model, demonstrates that endurance exercise attenuates these histopathological alterations, preserving muscle integrity. Findings support exercise as a viable strategy to counteract frailty‐induced musculoskeletal decline

Nonlinear volterra equations with infinite delay
This paper is concerned with the existence and stability of nonlinear Volterra equations which have infinite delay and are of the form: $$x (\varphi ) (t) = W (t, \tau ) \varphi (0) + \int\limits_\tau ^t {W (t, s)} F(s,x_s (\varphi )) ds, x_\tau (\varphi ) = \varphi \in C_u .$$

Development of 4T1 breast cancer mouse model system for preclinical carbonic anhydrase IX studies
Carbonic anhydrase IX (CAIX) is a well‐recognised therapeutic target and prognostic biomarker in cancer. We developed and characterised a robust murine breast cancer model system that is suitable for CAIX studies in vitro and in vivo—it comprises both CAIX‐positive and CAIX‐negative controls and provides a solid platform for the comprehensive ...

Delay-induced multistability near a global bifurcation
We study the effect of a time-delayed feedback within a generic model for a saddle-node bifurcation on a limit cycle. Without delay the only attractor below this global bifurcation is a stable node.

This paper deals with stochastically globally exponential stability (SGES) for stochastic impulsive differential systems (SIDSs) with discrete delays (DDs) and infinite distributed delays (IDDs).

Earthing effects on mitochondrial function: ATP production and ROS generation
In contrast to sham and naive controls, grounded mitochondria not only exhibit significantly enhanced energy production but also demonstrate a remarkable reduction in membrane potential and oxidative stress. This suggests a profound improvement in mitochondrial health, presenting a promising avenue for therapeutic interventions.

Periodic perturbations with delay of autonomous differential equations on manifolds
We apply topological methods to the study of the set of harmonic solutions of periodically perturbed autonomous ordinary differential equations on differentiable manifolds, allowing the perturbing term to contain a fixed delay.

C^k invariant manifolds for infinite delay
For a non-autonomous delay difference equation with infinite delay, we construct smooth stable and unstable invariant manifolds for any sufficiently small perturbation of an exponential dichotomy.
