Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

Hydraulic fracturing is used to significantly improve well productivity, particularly in reservoirs with low permeability. In carrying out this operation in the reservoir creates a large branched system of cracks.

Index theorems on open infinite manifolds
Abstract A new index theorem for Dirac operators defined on open infinite manifolds is derived. The derivation is based on the use of trace identifies and assumes the validity of the standard chiral anomaly equation. The theorem generalizes the Callias index theorem for arbitrary background fields and is analogous to the Atiyah-Patodi-Singer index ...

Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...

Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

Solvability conditions for some difference operators
Infinite-dimensional difference operators are studied. Under the assumption that the coefficients of the operator have limits at infinity, limiting operators and associated polynomials are introduced.

Semisimple groups interpretable in various valued fields
We study infinite groups interpretable in power bounded T-convex, V-minimal or p-adically closed fields. We show that if G is an interpretable definably semisimple group (i.e., has no definable infinite normal abelian subgroups) then, up to a finite ...

The dynamic properties of solutions for a nonlinear shallow water equation
The local well-posedness for the Cauchy problem of a nonlinear shallow water equation is established. The wave-breaking mechanisms, global existence, and infinite propagation speed of solutions to the equation are derived under certain assumptions.

In the present work, we have identified a transcriptional signature based on the differential expression of six genes (BCL2&MAST4, HSH2D&LAT2, METRN&PITPNM2) that would facilitate the early detection of T‐cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T‐ALL) patients prone to a poor treatment response and could be implemented at diagnosis, along with other risk ...
