Infinitely many solutions to quasilinear Schrödinger equations with critical exponent

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations, 2019
This paper is concerned with the following quasilinear Schrödinger equations with critical exponent: \begin{equation*}\label{eqS0.1} - \Delta _p u+ V(x)|u|^{p-2}u - \Delta _p(|u|^{2\omega}) |u|^{2\omega-2}u = a k(x)|u|^{q-2}u+b |u|^{2\omega p^{*}-2}

Gasotransmitters in Modern Medicine: Promises and Challenges in the Use of Porous Crystalline Carriers

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This perspective provides an overview of the growing interest in utilizing various gasotransmitters—small gaseous signaling molecules namely nitric oxide (NO), carbon monoxide (CO), and hydrogen sulfide (H2S)—for several therapeutic applications, with emphasis on the potential use of porous materials as carriers to provide safe and controlled local ...

Infinitely many solutions for a boundary Yamabe problem

open access: yes
We consider the classical geometric problem of prescribing the scalar and the boundary mean curvature in the unit ball endowed with the standard Euclidean metric. We will deal with the case of negative scalar curvature showing the existence of infinitely many non-radial positive solutions when the dimension is larger or equal to 5.

Biorthonormal Systems in Freud-type Weighted Spaces with Infinitely Many Zeros - An Interpolation Problem [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2008
In a Freud-type weighted ($w$) space, introducing another weight ($v$) with infinitely many roots, we give a complete and minimal system with respect to $vw$, by deleting infinitely many elements from the original orthonormal system with respect to $w$.

Existence of infinitely many solutions for semilinear elliptic equations

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2016
In this article, we study the existence and infinitely many solutions for the elliptic boundary-value problem $$\displaylines{ -\Delta u+a(x)u=f(x,u) \quad\text{in }\Omega, \cr u=0 \quad\text{on }\partial\Omega.

Implementing BMP‐7 Chemically Modified RNA for Bone Regeneration with 3D Printable Hyaluronic Acid‐Collagen Granular Gels

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This study developed 3D‐printable THA‐Col microgels for delivering BMP‐7 cmRNA. The key result is that hMSCs transfected on the biomaterials showed BMP‐7 secretion levels comparable to pre‐transfected hMSCs, therefore introducing a cmRNA‐activated matrix to promote bone healing.

Dendrimer Conjugates with PD‐L1‐Binding Peptides Enhance In Vivo Antitumor Immune Response

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
In this paper, a novel nanoparticle scaffold composed of dendrimers conjugated with peptide‐based immune checkpoint inhibitors, enhancing drug delivery efficacy is introduced. By conjugating PD‐L1‐binding peptides to dendrimers, multivalent binding effects are harnessed, resulting in enhanced binding affinity, prolonged half‐life, and improved ...

Existence of infinitely many solutions for sublinear elliptic problems

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, 2003
AbstractLet N⩾2 and Ω⊂RN be a bounded domain. In the present paper, we show the existence of infinity many solutions of nonlinear Dirichlet boundary value problem −Δu=g(x,u),u∈H01(Ω), where g:Ω×R→R is a continuous function satisfying lim|t|→0g(x,t)/t→∞ for all x∈Ω.
