This is what I’m doing and why: Reflections on a think-aloud study of digital library users’ information behaviour

open access: yes, 2010
Many user-centred studies of digital libraries (DLs) include a think-aloud element and are usually conducted with the purpose of identifying usability issues related to the DLs used or understanding aspects of users‟ information behaviour.

From information behaviour research to the design of information systems: the Cognitive Work Analysis framework

open access: yesInformation Research: An International Electronic Journal, 2004
Cognitive Work Analysis (CWA) is a conceptual framework that makes it possible to analyze the forces that shape human-information interaction. This analysis can then be directly transformed to design requirements for information systems.

Reconstructing enzyme evolution by protein engineering

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Natural enzyme evolution can be retraced by protein engineering methods such as directed evolution, rational design, and ancestral sequence reconstruction. These approaches reveal how enzymes emerged from ligand‐binding scaffolds, developed varying substrate preferences, formed oligomeric complexes, adapted to environmental changes, and evolved novel ...

The role of miR‐335‐5p in the redifferentiation of BRAF p.V600E thyroid cancers

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The BRAF p.V600E mutation promotes thyroid cancer dedifferentiation and radioiodine resistance. Using a network approach, we identified miR‐335‐5p as a key regulator of BRAF‐mutated thyroid tumors. Restoring miR‐335‐5p increased thyroid‐specific gene expression and iodine uptake in cells and organoids.

Identity in Information Behaviour Research: A Conceptual Analysis

open access: yesProceedings of the Annual Conference of CAIS / Actes du congrès annuel de l'ACSI, 2019
Using a conceptual analysis approach, this study explores how identity has been conceptualized in the information behaviour literature. Findings indicate that researchers have employed three main approaches when conceptualizing identity: identity as personal project, identity and social groups, and identity as selfpresentation were the three most ...
