Election algorithms with random delays in trees [PDF]

open access: yesDiscrete Mathematics & Theoretical Computer Science, 2009
The election is a classical problem in distributed algorithmic. It aims to design and to analyze a distributed algorithm choosing a node in a graph, here, in a tree. In this paper, a class of randomized algorithms for the election is studied.

Exploring pathways leading to drug‐resistant epilepsy for patients with cryptogenic new onset refractory status epilepticus

open access: yesEpilepsia, EarlyView.
Abstract Objective Cryptogenic new onset refractory status epilepticus (cNORSE) carries high risks of long‐term disability and post‐NORSE epilepsy, but mechanisms remain unclear. We aimed to assess the predictive value of inflammatory and brain injury biomarkers and determine whether immune disturbances persist in the chronic phase. Methods We enrolled

Comparison of hom(oe)ologous regions containing clusters of duplicated RGAs within Musa species and with rice [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
Understanding structure and evolution of genomic regions coding for proteins of agronomical interest is an important objective for crop improvement. We compare hom(oe)ologous regions within monocot genomes through BAC annotation.

Are sensory processing difficulties in infancy predictive of child mental health at 5‐years? Findings from the Etude Longitudinale Francaise depuis l'Enfance French national birth cohort

open access: yesJCPP Advances, EarlyView.
Abstract Background People with neurodevelopmental and mental health conditions have been demonstrated to have elevated rates of sensory processing (SP) difficulties in research and practice but the temporal order of this relationship is unclear. Methods This study sought to investigate whether SP difficulties in infancy predicted mental health at 5 ...

Massive Sampling Strategy for Antibody–Antigen Targets in CAPRI Round 55 With MassiveFold

open access: yesProteins: Structure, Function, and Bioinformatics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Massive sampling with AlphaFold2 improves protein–protein complex predictions. This has been shown during the last CASP15‐CAPRI blind prediction round by the AFsample tool. However, more difficult targets including antibody–antigen binding remain challenging. CAPRI Round 55 consisted of three antibody–antigen targets and one heterotrimer.
