2009We compared the certification system for Healthcare Information Technologists (HITs) with that for Informatics Nurses (INs). HITs lacked only two items. If these items could be made part of graduate education, it would be possible to use the HITs certification as a basic part of the qualification, and develop a graduate program for Japanese INs.
