Intestinal Circulation during Inhalation Anesthesia
Anesthesiology, 1985This study was designed to evaluate the influence of inhalational agents on the intestinal circulation in an isolated loop preparation. The Chalactalistcs of Inhalational Anesthesia for Cats
2021Objective: While clinical use of sevoflurane has been increasing in veterinary medicine, this anaesthetic can cause dose-dependent hypotension, hypoventilation, impaired cardiac contractility, and hypothermia. Because of these side effects, sevoflurane must be carefully titrated and vigilantly monitored to avoid excessive anaesthetic depth.

Inhalation Anesthesia: An Occupational Hazard
Hospital Practice, 1974An excess incidence of certain cancers, spontaneous abortions, and birth defects in their offspring has been documented among anesthesia personnel, giving rise to concern about the effects of chronic exposure to anesthetic gases. Yet it is possible, with scavenging equipment and properly designed ventilating systems, to reduce operating room ...
