Radio-Sensitization of Human Leukaemic MOLT-4 Cells by DNA-Dependent Protein Kinase Inhibitor, NU7026

open access: yesActa Medica, 2012
In this paper we describe the influence of NU7026, a specific inhibitor of DNA-dependent protein kinase, phosphoinositide 3-kinase, and ATM-kinase on molecular and cellular mechanisms triggered by ionising irradiation in human T-lymphocyte leukaemic MOLT-

Osthole induces lung cancer cell apoptosis through inhibition of inhibitor of apoptosis family proteins

open access: yesOncology Letters, 2016
In the present study, we investigated the effects and mechanisms of Osthole on the apoptosis of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) cells and its synergistic effect with Embelin. Our results revealed that treatment with both Osthole and Embelin inhibited cell proliferation.

Role of EZH2 Inhibitor Combined with Gefitinib in EGFR-TKIs Resistant Lung Cancer Cells

open access: yesChinese Journal of Lung Cancer, 2019
Background and objective Lung cancer is one of the common malignant tumors that impair human health. With the development of epigenetics, the researchers found that enhancer of Zeste homolog 2 (EZH2) is highly expressed in lung cancer tissue and its ...

A preexisting rare PIK3CA e545k subpopulation confers clinical resistance to MEK plus CDK4/6 inhibition in NRAS melanoma and is dependent on S6K1 signaling [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
Combined MEK and CDK4/6 inhibition (MEKi + CDK4i) has shown promising clinical outcomes in patients with NRAS- mutant melanoma. Here, we interrogated longitudinal biopsies from a patient who initially responded to MEKi + CDK4i therapy but subsequently ...

Expression of livin protein in lung cancer and its relation with the expression of pro-caspase3 protein

open access: yesChinese Journal of Lung Cancer, 2008
Background and objective Livin is a novel inhibitor of apoptosis protein (IAP), recent studies showed it overexpresses in a variety of carcinomas including lung cancer and contributes much to the cancerous development.
