Large‐scale bidirectional arrayed genetic screens identify OXR1 and EMC4 as modifiers of αSynuclein aggregation

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils. In contrast, ablation of the ER protein EMC4 enhances autophagic flux and lysosomal clearance, broadly reducing α‐synuclein aggregates.

Molecular dynamics simulations of positively selected codons in FcγRI reveal novel biochemical binding properties

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Evolutionary analysis across 32 placental mammals identified positive selection at residues H148 and W149 in the immune receptor FcγR1. Ancestral reconstruction combined with molecular dynamics simulations reveals how these mutations may influence receptor structure and dynamics, providing insight into the evolution of antibody recognition and immune ...

An Improved Alignment Method for the Strapdown Inertial Navigation System (SINS)

open access: yesSensors, 2016
In this paper, an innovative inertial navigation system (INS) mechanization and the associated Kalman filter (KF) are developed to implement a fine alignment for the strapdown INS (SINS) on stationary base.

Range-Doppler domain spatial alignment for networked radars

open access: yesEURASIP Journal on Advances in Signal Processing, 2022
An important prerequisite for the radar network detection is that the measurements from local radars are transformed to a common reference frame without systematic or registration errors. For the signal level alignment, only partial signals are available

Molecular characterization of covRS mutations in M1UK Streptococcus pyogenes

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Group A Streptococcus (GAS) acquires covRS mutations driving a hypervirulent bacterial state, frequently associated with invasive disease‐like necrotizing fasciitis. We demonstrate that the newly emerged M1UK GAS lineage can also acquire these mutations.

A two-position initial alignment algorithm based on RLS estimation

open access: yesJournal of Physics: Conference Series
Abstract In response to the need for an inertial navigation system with a rotation modulation function to achieve accurate alignment in a short time, an alignment method based on recursive least squares (RLS) and using two-position alignment is proposed.
