Persistent cutaneous pseudolymphoma after intradermal gold injection
Journal of Cutaneous Pathology, 1996After intradermal testing with goldsodiumthiomalate (GSTM), 5 out of 8 patients developed skin papules at the test sites, which persisted up to 20 months. The lesions were surgically excised. Histology revealed pseudolymphoma of B and T cell type containing follicular structures and occasional small granulomas.

Intradermal Injections of Influenza Vaccine
Pediatrics, 1968Several colleagues and I have been administering 0.1 to 0.2 cc influenza vaccine intradermally into infants and children for a numher of years. This was based on a report on adults that intradermal injections give almost as high titers as subcutaneous. The impression is that these injections were effective and without side effects.

INTRADERMAL (INJECTION) VACCINATION
Journal of the American Medical Association, 1928It has been 130 years since Jenner published his original article entitled "An Inquiry Into the Causes and Effects of the Variolae Vaccinae." Intradermal injection of
Intradermal injection of botulinumtoxinA (BoNT/A) has been used off-label by many clinicians for the purpose of face-lifting effect. Some studies on AbobotulinumtoxinA (AboA) demonstrated clinical efficacy on face-lifting effect when comparing to normal saline solution (NSS).

Effects of Intradermal Injections of Plutonium in Swine
Health Physics, 1962A study of the acute and chronic effects of Pu/sup 239/ deposited in the skin of blond miniature swine was initiated in July 1960. Ten blond miniature swine were injected intradermally with 0.0016, 0.008, 0.04, 0.2, 1, and 5 mu c of plutonium nitrate in 0.01 ml of 0.2 N HNO/sub 3/.

Immune response to intradermally injected inactivated poliovirus vaccine
The Lancet, 1991Immune response to intradermal inoculation of a fractional dose of inactivated poliovirus vaccine (IPV) was measured in 8 adults and 10 children who were previously immune. A striking 4-fold to 1024-fold antibody booster response to all 3 poliovirus serotypes was found in 15 subjects and a similar response to 2 poliovirus serotypes occurred in the ...

Intradermal botulinum A toxin injection for axillary hyperhydrosis
Journal of Pediatric Surgery, 2005Axillary hyperhydrosis in children and teenagers may be severe enough to affect social development. Current treatments range from aluminum chloride compounds to surgical removal of sweat glands and sympathectomy. Intradermal injection of botulinum A toxin has recently been found to be a safe and effective alternative in the adult population.

Dose Sparing with Intradermal Injection of Influenza Vaccine
New England Journal of Medicine, 2004The loss of half the U.S. supply of influenza vaccine due to contamination has created a critical shortage. Dose-sparing strategies that use intradermal delivery of vaccines may be one approach to consider. We conducted a randomized, open-label trial outside the influenza season in 100 healthy adults 18 to 40 years of age to compare the immunogenicity ...
