Mesenchymal stem cells alleviate experimental cerebral malaria disease severity by inducing RoRγt+ Foxp3+ T regulatory (Tr 17) cells and modulating the dysregulated Th17/Treg axis

open access: yesCell Death Discovery
Cerebral malaria (CM) is associated with dysregulated immune response against the blood stage of malaria parasite that often leads to serious organ damage, ultimately causing fatal pathological complications.

When Micro Shapes the Meso: Learning Networks in a Chilean Wine Cluster [PDF]

open access: yes
Most analyses of the relationship between spatial clustering and the technological learning of firms have emphasised the influence of the former on the latter, and have focused on intra-cluster learning as the driver of innovative performance. This paper

Meta‐analysis fails to show any correlation between protein abundance and ubiquitination changes

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
We analyzed over 50 published proteomics datasets to explore the relationship between protein levels and ubiquitination changes across multiple experimental conditions and biological systems. Although ubiquitination is often associated with protein degradation, our analysis shows that changes in ubiquitination do not globally correlate with changes in ...

DEVELOPMENT OF CLUSTER POLICY OF FOREIGN COUNTRIES IN THE CONDITIONS OF THE GLOBAL COMPETITION

open access: yesВестник университета, 2019
Real productivity of cluster policy in practice least of all corresponds to financial investments and expectations. So, many countries couldn't realize the expectations and hopes, trying to repeat success of the USA and having copied operating conditions

A light‐triggered Time‐Resolved X‐ray Solution Scattering (TR‐XSS) workflow with application to protein conformational dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

Exon 7 splicing of ERα predicts poor prognosis and increases phenotypic heterogeneity in luminal a subtype breast cancer

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
ERα splice variant ERα∆7 lacks the C‐terminus, and its expression may change phenotypes of breast cancers. Our results showed that ERα∆7 is found in the luminal A subtype, and elevated ERα∆7 levels are linked to improved cell survival with lower proliferation and migration.
