Serological Benefit of SARS‐CoV‐2 Vaccination Relative to Infection in Children With Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) are at risk of severe outcomes from SARS‐CoV‐2 (SCV2). In the post‐pandemic context, where most children have been infected with SCV2, there are limited data on whether vaccination remains beneficial in children with ALL.

Trend analysis of hydro-climate variables in the Jemma sub-basin of Upper Blue Nile (Abbay) Basin, Ethiopia

open access: yesSN Applied Sciences, 2023
Article Highlights The annual precipitation of the sub-basin has shown an increasing trend. A considerable upward trend in the annual average temperature was found. The observed rainfall and temperature trends are associated with the hydro-climate trends.

A Bibliometric Analysis of Publications in Uremic Toxins From 1991 to 2024

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Uremic toxins are a growing area of research in nephrology, with significant implications in the progression and treatment of chronic kidney disease (CKD) and the management of end‐stage kidney disease (ESKD). This bibliometric analysis aims to evaluate the global research trends, key contributors, and the impact of publications in ...

Can innovative trend analysis identify trend change points?

open access: yesBrilliant Engineering, 2020
Trends in temperature series are the main cause of climate change. Because solar energy directs hydro-meteorological events and increasing variations in this resource change the balance between events such as evaporation, wind, and rainfall.

Comparative Evaluation of Hemodiafiltration, Hemoperfusion, and Standard Hemodialysis on Efficacy, Inflammatory Control, Dialysis Adequacy, and Safety in End‐Stage Renal Disease: A Prospective Observational Study

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Chronic micro‐inflammation in patients with end‐stage renal disease (ESRD) is a significant driver of cardiovascular complications and diminished quality of life. While standard hemodialysis (SHD) effectively manages small‐molecule clearance, its ability to remove medium‐to‐large uremic toxins—the primary catalysts of systemic ...

Time series data and rainfall pattern subjected to climate change using non-parametric tests over a vulnerable region of Karnataka, India

open access: yesJournal of Water and Climate Change, 2023
Fluctuations in the precipitation pattern often tend to have an impact on the availability of water, making it necessary to explore spatiotemporal variations in rainfall. This study explores the time series analysis of the rainfall from 1952 to 2019. The

The human gut microbiome across the life course

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Despite significant individual variation and continuous change throughout life, the human gut microbiome follows some life stage‐specific trends. This article provides a brief overview of how gut microbiome composition shifts across different phases of life. Created in BioRender. Özkurt, E. (2026) https://BioRender.com/8q4nrnc.

Trend analysis of evaporation and solar radiation using innovative trend analysis method

open access: yesJournal of Fundamental and Applied Sciences, 2023
Analysis of trends in monthly evaporation and solar radiation in the face of climate change gives useful information for better planning and management of water resources. This paper examines the monthly evaporation and solar radiation trend using the recently developed innovative trend analysis method (ITAM). The monthly evaporation trend result shown
