Output Feedback Control for Pneumatic Muscle Joint System With Saturation Input

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
Pneumatic muscle as a relatively new pneumatic component is often applied to some precise and flexible control systems. The precise control accuracy puts forward higher requirements for the controller design of the pneumatic muscle system.

Velocity‐free formation control for omnidirectional mobile robots with input saturation

open access: yesIET Control Theory & Applications, 2023
This paper presents a command‐filter‐based formation control scheme for the leader‐follower omnidirectional mobile robots (OMRs) subject to the absence of the velocity measurements, input saturation and unknown bounded disturbances.

Global stabilization of a Korteweg-de Vries equation with saturating distributed control

open access: yes, 2016
This article deals with the design of saturated controls in the context of partial differential equations. It focuses on a Korteweg-de Vries equation, which is a nonlinear mathematical model of waves on shallow water surfaces.

Time-response shaping using output to input saturation transformation [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Control, 2017
For linear systems, the control law design is often performed so that the resulting closed loop meets specific frequency-domain requirements. However, in many cases, it may be observed that the obtained controller does not enforce time-domain requirements amongst which the objective of keeping a scalar output variable in a given interval.

Bias‐Free Highly Efficient and Stable Dye‐Sensitized Photoelectrochemical Cells via Cascade Charge Transfer

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A buried‐junction DSPEC design is introduced that leverages cascade charge transfer to enhance efficiency, stability, and versatility. This approach facilitates effective charge transfer and minimizes recombination losses, leading to significant improvements.

Adaptive Neural Network Control Scheme of Switched Systems with Input Saturation

open access: yesDiscrete Dynamics in Nature and Society, 2020
This paper investigates a scheme of adaptive neural network control for a stochastic switched system with input saturation. The unknown smooth nonlinear functions are approximated directly by neural networks.

All‐in‐One Analog AI Hardware: On‐Chip Training and Inference with Conductive‐Metal‐Oxide/HfOx ReRAM Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An all‐in‐one analog AI accelerator is presented, enabling on‐chip training, weight retention, and long‐term inference acceleration. It leverages a BEOL‐integrated CMO/HfOx ReRAM array with low‐voltage operation (<1.5 V), multi‐bit capability over 32 states, low programming noise (10 nS), and near‐ideal weight transfer.

Printed Integrated Logic Circuits Based on Chitosan‐Gated Organic Transistors for Future Edible Systems

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Edible electronics needs integrated logic circuits for computation and control. This work presents a potentially edible printed chitosan‐gated transistor with a design optimized for integration in circuits. Its implementation in integrated logic gates and circuits operating at low voltage (0.7 V) is demonstrated, as well as the compatibility with an ...
