Clinical Effects of Food Product “BAPOL” (insoluble Fibers)
On 1180 patients (aged 1 – 78) and 420 white nonlinear rats, it was determined that the food product BAPOL (composed of 44.0–45.0% fibers) taken in intestinal infection caused the reduction of mortality in rats by 1.6 times, improvement of clinical course in children, normalization of peripheral blood data and integral hematological indices as well as ...

An injectable gelatin‐based tannic acid–iron hydrogel with mild photothermal therapy could not only induce immunogenic cell death, but also elicit ferroptosis of both tumor cells and tumor‐associated macrophages, resulting in DC maturation, T‐cell infiltration and down‐regulation of ferroptosis‐sensitive M2‐type TAMs levels.

IntroductionStudies have shown that a diet high in fiber and prebiotics has a positive impact on human health due largely to the fermentation of these compounds by the gut microbiota. One underutilized source of fiber may be rice bran, a waste product of

A concept of integrated O2 and H2 gas therapy is achieved using a gas‐producing material. PMP nanoparticles, fabricated from platinum, MIL‐101(Fe)‐NH2, and phosphotungstic acid, are integrated into bilayer gelatin methacryloyl microneedles for transdermal delivery. These microneedles enable integrated O2 and H2 gas therapy and promote wound healing via

Heterogeneity of the digestible insoluble fiber of selected forages in situ
AbstractLong-term in situ incubations were performed to verify the likelihood of the heterogeneity concept of the potentially digestible fraction of the insoluble fiber (NDFom) by fitting both heterogeneous and homogeneous potentially digestible NDFom versions of a generalized compartmental model of digestion (GCMD).

Water‐soluble amine‐functionalized polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane promotes concurrent latex coalescence and crosslinking, allowing epoxy‐functional particles to form continuous films without added volatile coalescing agents. The resulting multiscale‐reinforced waterborne coatings combine high strength, toughness, optical transparency, scratch ...

An intelligent engineered probiotic platform is developed for the precision management of inflammatory bowel disease. By integrating surface‐displayed adhesins with an inflammation‐responsive CAT‐SOD‐GPx tripartite fusion system and mucosal repair factors, this programmable system achieves prolonged intestinal retention and multi‐pronged therapy.
