Comparison of Insulin Hypersensitivity of Adrenalectomized and of Hypophysectomized Dogs.
Summary and ConclusionsThe adrenaleo-tomized dog is more sensitive to insulin than the normal dog but less sensitive than the hypophysectomized dog. This is true so long as the adrenalectomized dog, whether with or without DCA maintenance, is still well-nourished and tested only in the post-absorptive state.

Aims This study aimed to evaluate the safety, tolerability and pharmacokinetics of a novel oral modified‐release psilocybin formulation (REL‐P11) in normal‐weight and overweight/obese healthy adults and to assess its suitability for controlled, subperceptual exposure, in light of emerging evidence supporting serotonergic modulation in metabolic ...

Real‐world evidence (RWE) derived from real‐world data (RWD) can complement randomized controlled trials (RCTs), yet the validity of RWD relative to RCT data remains insufficiently characterized. We obtained post hoc consent and linked individual participant data from the US‐based INVESTED trial (2016–2019) with Medicare fee‐for‐service claims (2012 ...

Composition of allogeneic equine orthobiologics and their repeated intra‐articular administrations
Abstract Background Orthobiologics such as platelet‐rich plasma (PRP) and alpha‐2‐macroglobulin (A2MG) are increasingly used for equine musculoskeletal injuries. However, their composition and safety with repeated allogeneic intra‐articular administration remain poorly investigated.

Inzulin-túlérzékenységi reakció vagy valami más? Tanulságok egy eset kapcsán = Lessons from a case of suspected insulin allergy [PDF]
Today, insulin hypersensitivity reactions are rare side effects of insulin therapy. In two-thirds of the suspected insulin allergy cases, the clinical symptoms are not related to insulin.

Investigating the Role of Insulin-Like Signaling in Paclitaxel-Induced Nociceptive Hypersensitivity using Drosophila melanogaster [PDF]
Paclitaxel (PTX), a chemotherapeutic that alters microtubule dynamics, is known to induce nociceptive hypersensitivity and sensory neuron damage in human patients and in Drosophila larvae.

Preservatives limit microbial development, oxidation, and enzymatic degradation, resulting in better food quality and extended shelf life. Classified as natural, synthetic, or biological, each preservative has distinctive attributes and modes of action. Growing preference for natural preservatives aligns with clean label trends.
