ABSTRACT Background With approximately 50% of pregnancies being unplanned, there is an unintended exposure to potential feto‐toxic drugs that may cause major congenital malformations (MCM). This study aims to compare the predictive performance between traditional pharmacoepidemiologic (PE) and machine learning (ML) models. Methods We conducted a cohort

ABSTRACT Gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) represents far more than a transient glycaemic disorder: it is a sentinel metabolic event that unveils pre‐existing defects in β‐cell function and insulin action, with profound implications for both maternal and offspring cardiometabolic health across the lifespan.

Aspart and lispro insulin, is there any difference when used with an insulin pump treatment?
The DCC and the EDIC study studies showed the significance of intensive insulin treatment in reducing blood glucose levels and delaying the onset/progression of cardiovascular disease and microvascular complications. To minimise cardiovascular risk it is

ABSTRACT Introduction Administration of a somatostatin receptor 2 antagonist (SSTR2a) increases glucagon responsiveness to hypoglycaemia in insulin‐treated type 2 diabetes (T2D), but the durability of this effect and the impact of repeated SSTR2a dosing on overall glycaemia in T2D are unclear.

Sequential updates from MiniMed 620G to 640G and then to 770G were associated with stepwise improvements in glycemic management in Japanese individuals with type 1 diabetes. The transition to MiniMed 640G was mainly associated with reduced hypoglycemia, whereas the subsequent transition to MiniMed 770G was associated with reduced hyperglycemia.
