Integer Ambiguity Resolution with Nonlinear Geometrical Constraints
2011Integer ambiguity resolution is the key to obtain very accurate positioning solutions out of the GNSS observations. The Integer Least Squares (ILS) principle, a derivation of the least-squares principle applied to a linear system of equations in which some of the unknowns are subject to an integer constraint, was demonstrated to be optimal among the ...

Integer ambiguity resolution in GPS for spinning spacecrafts
IEEE Transactions on Aerospace and Electronic Systems, 1999A procedure to compute the integer ambiguity problem when a GPS receiver is used in a multiple antenna configuration attached to a rotating spacecraft is presented. The method is applied to a simulation of an experimental satellite which uses the GPS receiver for attitude determination.

Integer ambiguity resolution in GPS using particle filtering
Proceedings of the 2001 American Control Conference. (Cat. No.01CH37148), 2001Using carrier phase measurements enables the differential GPS to reach centimeter level accuracy. A phase lock loop cannot measure the full cycle part of the carrier phase. This unmeasured part is called integer ambiguity that requires to be resolved through other means. In this paper we present a new integer ambiguity resolution method. In this method

Improved Integer Ambiguity Resolution Technique for Fixed Arrays
Journal of Guidance, Control, and Dynamics, 2005A method for quickly and accurately determining the integer ambiguities associated with carrier phase measurements on a rigid antenna array is presented. Residuals generated from the difference between the global positioning system measurements and the hypothesized value have been used in the multiple-hypothesis Wald sequential probability test (MHWSPT)

Integer ambiguity resolution in phase closure imaging
Journal of the Optical Society of America A, 2001Phase calibration is the key operation of phase closure imaging. In the case of nonredundant arrays, the related problem amounts to finding the node of a Z lattice closest to the end of a vector, the components of which are the differences between the closure phases of the data and those of the model.

Fast integer ambiguity resolution for GPS attitude determination
Guidance, Navigation, and Control Conference and Exhibit, 1999In this paper, a new algorithm for GPS (Global Positioning System) integer ambiguity resolution is shown. The algorithm first incorporates an instantaneous (static) integer search to significantly reduce the search space using a geometric inequality.

Resolution of Integer Ambiguity in GPS Attitude Determination
2011 First International Conference on Instrumentation, Measurement, Computer, Communication and Control, 2011In order to resolve the carrier phase ambiguity in attitude determination, a new approach is proposed and discussed. A method for static baseline vector estimation is derivate based on the epoch-difference carrier phase and a receiver clock bias model. By using the estimated baseline vector, a float solution of ambiguity is computed.

Improving GNSS data analysis with undifferenced integer ambiguity resolution
2023Along with other space geodetics, the Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) technique has a profound impact on the realization of terrestrial reference frames and the provision of geodetic and geophysical parameters such as Earth Rotation Parameters (ERP) and geocenter (GCC) coordinates.

R-ratio test threshold selection in GNSS integer ambiguity resolution
Journal of Applied Geodesy, 2022Abstract Ensuring that ambiguity cycles are correctly fixed as integers is a critical prerequisite for ensuring the reliability of GNSS high-precision carrier positioning results. As a result, it is both theoretically and practically important to investigate the performance of the ambiguity validation test by selecting an appropriate ...

On the Reliability of Integer Ambiguity Resolution
Navigation, 2005Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) carrier-phase observations are ambiguous by an unknown, integer number of cycles. These integer ambiguity parameters need to be resolved before carrier-phase observations can begin to serve as very precise pseudorange measurements. Optimal estimation of the integer ambiguities involves a complex mapping of real-
