Data‐Driven Bulldozer Blade Control for Autonomous Terrain Leveling

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
A simulation‐driven framework for autonomous bulldozer leveling is presented, combining high‐fidelity terramechanics simulation with a neural‐network‐based reduced‐order model. Gradient‐based optimization enables efficient, low‐level blade control that balances leveling quality and operation time.

An efficient approach to fractional analysis for non-linear coupled thermo-elastic systems

open access: yesPartial Differential Equations in Applied Mathematics
Nonlinear thermoelastic systems play a crucial role in understanding thermal conductivity, stresses, elasticity, and temperature interactions. This research focuses on finding solutions to these systems in their fractional forms, which is a significant ...

AutomataGPT: Transformer‐Based Forecasting and Ruleset Inference for Two‐Dimensional Cellular Automata

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We introduce AutomataGPT, a generative pretrained transformer (GPT) trained on synthetic spatiotemporal data from 2D cellular automata to learn symbolic rules. Demonstrating strong performance on both forward and inverse tasks, AutomataGPT establishes a scalable, domain‐agnostic framework for interpretable modeling, paving the way for future ...

The Exponential Diophantine Equation 2x+by=cz

open access: yesThe Scientific World Journal, 2014
Let b and c be fixed coprime odd positive integers with min{b,c}>1. In this paper, a classification of all positive integer solutions (x,y,z) of the equation 2x+by=cz is given. Further, by an elementary approach, we prove that if c=b+2, then the equation

Mechanism Design via Dantzig-Wolfe Decomposition [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
In random allocation rules, typically first an optimal fractional point is calculated via solving a linear program. The calculated point represents a fractional assignment of objects or more generally packages of objects to agents.

Inhomogeneous quadratic congruences

open access: yes, 2011
We investigate the density of integer solutions to certain binary inhomogeneous quadratic congruences and use this information to detect almost primes on a singular del Pezzo surface of degree 6.Comment: 24 ...

Consensus Formation and Change are Enhanced by Neutrality

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Neutral agents are shown to enhance both the formation and overturning of consensus in collective decision‐making. A general mathematical model and experiments with locusts and humans reveal that neutrality enables robust consensus via simple interactions and accelerates consensus change by reducing effective population size.

A Review on the Solutions of Difference Equations via Integer Sequences such as Fibonacci Numbers and Tribonacci Numbers

open access: yesCommunications in Advanced Mathematical Sciences, 2019
In this review article, we study the recent investigations on the forms of solutions of systems difference equations and difference equations in terms of well-known integer sequences such as Fibonacci numbers, Padovan numbers.

Helix Alignment, Chevrons, and Edge Dislocations in Twist‐Bend Ferroelectric Nematics

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The recently discovered twist‐bend ferroelectric nematic (NTBF) is the new member of the multiferroic family, representing a fluid with an oblique helicoidal (heliconical) periodic structure of spontaneous electric polarization. The work presents a thorough exploration of the material properties of this phase, how the periodic modulation of ...

Improved integral simplex using decomposition for the set partitioning problem

open access: yesEURO Journal on Computational Optimization, 2018
Integral simplex using decomposition (ISUD) is a method that efficiently solves set partitioning problems. It is an iterative method that starts from a known integer solution and moves through a sequence of integer solutions, decreasing the cost at each ...
