From mice to humans—divergent strategies for intestinal homeostasis and regeneration
Recent advances such as organoid genome editing, xenotransplantation, imaging, and whole‐genome sequencing have enabled direct studies of human intestinal stem cells (ISCs). These studies reveal species‐specific features, including slower ISC proliferation, distinct injury responses, slower somatic mutation accumulation in humans, and an inverse ...

Negative flows of generalized KdV and mKdV hierarchies and their gauge-Miura transformations
The KdV hierarchy is a paradigmatic example of the rich mathematical structure underlying integrable systems and has far-reaching connections in several areas of theoretical physics.

Subtype‐specific enhancer RNAs define transcriptional regulators and prognosis in breast cancers
This study employed machine learning methodologies to perform the subtype‐specific classification of RNA‐seq data sets, which are mapped on enhancers from TCGA‐derived breast cancer patients. Their integration with gene expression (referred to as ProxCReAM eRNAs) and chromatin accessibility profiles has the potential to identify lineage‐specific and ...

Manifestly supersymmetric Lax integrable hierarchies [PDF]
A systematic method of constructing manifestly supersymmetric $1+1$-dimensional KP Lax hierarchies is presented. Closed expressions for the Lax operators in terms of superfield eigenfunctions are obtained. All hierarchy equations being eigenfunction equations are shown to be automatically invariant under the (extended) supersymmetry. The supersymmetric

Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Field analogue of the Ruijsenaars-Schneider model
We suggest a field extension of the classical elliptic Ruijsenaars-Schneider model. The model is defined in two different ways which lead to the same result.

This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.

The twistor description of integrable systems [PDF]
The theory of twistors and the theory of integrable models have, for many years, developed independently of each other. However, in recent years it has been shown that there is considerable overlap between these two apparently disparate areas of ...

Gromov–Witten invariants and integrable hierarchies of topological type
We outline two approaches to the construction of integrable hierarchies associated with the theory of Gromov--Witten invariants of smooth projective varieties.
