On the Whitham Hierarchies: Reductions and Hodograph Solutions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
A general scheme for analyzing reductions of Whitham hierarchies is presented. It is based on a method for determining the $S$-function by means of a system of first order partial differential equations.

Organ‐specific redox imbalances in spinal muscular atrophy mice are partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotides

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

Supersymmetric V-systems

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2019
We construct N = 4 D 2 , 1 ; α $$ \mathcal{N}=4D\left(2,1;\ \alpha \right) $$ superconformal quantum mechanical system for any configuration of vectors forming a ∨-system.

Tau-Functions and Generalized Integrable Hierarchies

open access: yes, 1992
The tau-function formalism for a class of generalized ``zero-curvature'' integrable hierarchies of partial differential equations, is constructed. The class includes the Drinfel'd-Sokolov hierarchies.

A System with Two Integrable Hierarchies [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of the Physical Society of Japan, 1999
Summary: By assuming the symmetry group and using the inverse method, we find an integrable system which is constructed from superposition of two hierarchies of integrable equations. The authors discuss the SU(2) and SL(2,\(\mathbb{R}\)) cases in detail.

Colorectal cancer‐derived FGF19 is a metabolically active serum biomarker that exerts enteroendocrine effects on mouse liver

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Meta‐transcriptome analysis identified FGF19 as a peptide enteroendocrine hormone associated with colorectal cancer prognosis. In vivo xenograft models showed release of FGF19 into the blood at levels that correlated with tumor volumes. Tumoral‐FGF19 altered murine liver metabolism through FGFR4, thereby reducing bile acid synthesis and increasing ...

Field analogue of the Ruijsenaars-Schneider model

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2022
We suggest a field extension of the classical elliptic Ruijsenaars-Schneider model. The model is defined in two different ways which lead to the same result.

Set partitions and integrable hierarchies

open access: yes, 2015
We demonstrate that statistics for several types of set partitions are described by generating functions which appear in the theory of integrable equations.Comment: 32 pages, 8 ...

Subtype‐specific enhancer RNAs define transcriptional regulators and prognosis in breast cancers

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study employed machine learning methodologies to perform the subtype‐specific classification of RNA‐seq data sets, which are mapped on enhancers from TCGA‐derived breast cancer patients. Their integration with gene expression (referred to as ProxCReAM eRNAs) and chromatin accessibility profiles has the potential to identify lineage‐specific and ...
