Integrating partonomic hierarchies in anatomy ontologies [PDF]

open access: yesBMC Bioinformatics, 2004
Abstract Background Anatomy ontologies play an increasingly important role in developing integrated bioinformatics applications. One of the primary relationships between anatomical tissues represented in such ontologies is part-of.

INTEGRABLE HIERARCHIES AND THE WDVV-EQUATIONS [PDF]

open access: yesQuantum Theory and Symmetries, 2002
In this paper an overview is given of connections between the Witten-Dijkgraaf-Verlinde-Verlinde equations and its generalization and various integrable systems. In particular its link with the $n$-component $KP$-hierarchy is treated in a fairly detailed way.

A new hierarchy of integrable system of 1+2 dimensions: from Newton's law to generalized Hamiltonian system. Part II

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2006
The Hamiltonian equation provides us an alternate description of the basic physical laws of motion, which is used to be described by Newton's law.

A Hierarchy of Discrete Integrable Coupling System with Self-Consistent Sources

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, 2014
Integrable coupling system of a lattice soliton equation hierarchy is deduced. The Hamiltonian structure of the integrable coupling is constructed by using the discrete quadratic-form identity.

Associativity equations in dispersionless integrable hierarchies

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2001
We discuss the origin of the associativity (WDVV) equations in the context of quasiclassical or Whitham hierarchies. The associativity equations are shown to be encoded in the dispersionless limit of the Hirota equations for KP and Toda hierarchies. We show, therefore, that any tau-function of dispersionless KP or Toda hierarchy provides a solution to ...

A New Approach for Generating the TX Hierarchy as well as Its Integrable Couplings

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2014
Tu Guizhang and Xu Baozhi once introduced an isospectral problem by a loop algebra with degree being λ, for which an integrable hierarchy of evolution equations (called the TX hierarchy) was derived under the frame of zero curvature equations.

Initial states in integrable quantum field theory quenches from an integral equation hierarchy

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 2016
We consider the problem of determining the initial state of integrable quantum field theory quenches in terms of the post-quench eigenstates. The corresponding overlaps are a fundamental input to most exact methods to treat integrable quantum quenches ...

An integrable coupling hierarchy of Dirac integrable hierarchy, its Liouville integrability and Darboux transformation

open access: yesThe Journal of Nonlinear Sciences and Applications, 2017
Summary: An integrable coupling hierarchy of Dirac integrable hierarchy is presented by means of zero curvature representation. A Hamiltonian operator involving two parameters is introduced, and it is used to derive a pair of Hamiltonian operators. A bi-Hamiltonian structure of the obtained integrable coupling hierarchy is constructed with the aid of ...

The (Glg)ABCs of cyanobacteria: modelling of glycogen synthesis and functional divergence of glycogen synthases in Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Bi-integrable and tri-integrable couplings of a soliton hierarchy associated with SO(4)

open access: yesOpen Mathematics, 2017
In our paper, the theory of bi-integrable and tri-integrable couplings is generalized to the discrete case. First, based on the six-dimensional real special orthogonal Lie algebra SO(4), we construct bi-integrable and tri-integrable couplings associated ...
