Developmental programmes drive cellular plasticity, disease progression and therapy resistance in lung adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.

An Integrated Integrable Hierarchy Arising from a Broadened Ablowitz–Kaup–Newell–Segur Scenario

open access: yesAxioms
This study introduces a 4×4 matrix eigenvalue problem and develops an integrable hierarchy with a bi-Hamiltonian structure. Integrability is ensured by the zero-curvature condition, while the Hamiltonian structure is supported by the trace identity ...

A vertex operator representation of solutions to the Gurevich-Zybin hydrodynamical equation [PDF]

open access: yesOpuscula Mathematica, 2013
An approach based on the spectral and Lie-algebraic techniques for constructing vertex operator representation for solutions to a Riemann type hydrodynamical hierarchy is devised. A functional representation generating an infinite hierarchy of dispersive

Oncogenic DMTF1β promotes cancer cell motility by regulating autophagy through ULK1 stabilization

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In the current study, we demonstrate that the oncogene DMTF1β regulates ULK1 stability by reducing its proteasomal degradation in cancer cells. This stabilization enables ULK1 to induce autophagy, which in turn facilitates cancer cell migration. Consequently, reduced DMTF1β levels lead to decreased autophagy and impaired cancer cell migration.

Tumor B‐cell infiltration in platinum‐treated advanced muscle‐invasive urothelial carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Bladder tumors with higher pretreatment memory B‐cell infiltration were linked to longer survival after cisplatin chemotherapy, but not carboplatin. These tumors also showed more organized immune structures (tertiary lymphoid structures) and a shared pro‐inflammatory B‐cell‐rich community, suggesting that memory B cells may help identify patients most ...

Formal Diagonalisation of Lax-Darboux Schemes

open access: yesМоделирование и анализ информационных систем, 2015
We discuss the concept of Lax-Darboux scheme and illustrate it on well known examples associated with the Nonlinear Schro¨dinger (NLS) equation. We explore the Darboux links of the NLS hierarchy with the hierarchy of Heisenberg model, principal chiral ...

Nonlinear Bi-Integrable Couplings of Multicomponent Guo Hierarchy with Self-Consistent Sources

open access: yesAdvances in Mathematical Physics, 2012
Based on a well-known Lie algebra, the multicomponent Guo hierarchy with self-consistent sources is proposed. With the help of a set of non-semisimple Lie algebra, the nonlinear bi-integrable couplings of the multicomponent Guo hierarchy with self ...

Liouville Correspondences between Integrable Hierarchies [PDF]

open access: yesSymmetry, Integrability and Geometry: Methods and Applications, 2017
In this paper, we study explicit correspondences between the integrable Novikov and Sawada-Kotera hierarchies, and between the Degasperis-Procesi and Kaup-Kupershmidt hierarchies. We show how a pair of Liouville transformations between the isospectral problems of the Novikov and Sawada-Kotera equations, and the isospectral problems of the Degasperis ...

Patient therapy outcome modeling in cancer organoids is improved by cancer‐associated fibroblasts and organoid assembly convolution

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Patient‐derived organoids (PDOs) from pancreatic, colorectal, and gastric cancers were used to evaluate standard and experimental therapies. Incorporating cancer‐associated fibroblasts (CAFs) into organoid cultures improved patient therapy outcome prediction.

A class of multidimensional integrable hierarchies and their reductions [PDF]

open access: yesTheoretical and Mathematical Physics, 2009
A class of multidimensional integrable hierarchies connected with commutation of general (unreduced) (N+1)-dimensional vector fields containing derivative over spectral variable is considered. They are represented in the form of generating equation, as well as in the Lax-Sato form.
