Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

Why human connection is the true metric of research success
Human‐centred mentorship can be shaped by mentor attributes, actions, intrinsic drive and career ambition. Drawing on reflections across Singapore and France, as well as workshop insights from FEBS‐IUBMB ENABLE 2024, this article shows that human‐centred mentorship creates the conditions for sustainable growth, well‐being and retention in research ...

Two Expanding Integrable Models of the Geng-Cao Hierarchy
As far as linear integrable couplings are concerned, one has obtained some rich and interesting results. In the paper, we will deduce two kinds of expanding integrable models of the Geng-Cao (GC) hierarchy by constructing different 6-dimensional Lie ...

Early‐life exposure to a high‐fat diet altered intact Achilles tendons in rat offspring, making them thinner, stiffer, and molecularly distinct even without injury. These findings suggest that developmental high‐fat diet exposure may impair tendon quality and increase susceptibility to mechanical overload or tendon injury later in life.

Integrable discretization of recursion operators and unified bilinear forms to soliton hierarchies [PDF]
In this paper, we give a procedure for discretizing recursion operators by utilizing unified bilinear forms within integrable hierarchies. To illustrate this approach, we present unified bilinear forms for both the AKNS hierarchy and the KdV hierarchy ...

Analytic-bilinear approach to integrable hierarchies. I. Generalized KP hierarchy [PDF]
An analytic-bilinear approach for construction and study of integrable hierarchies, in particular, the KP hierarchy is proposed. It starts with the generalized Hirota identity for the Cauchy–Baker–Akhiezer (CBA) function and leads to a generalized KP hierarchy in the form of compact functional equations containing a special shift operator.

Nonassociativity and Integrable Hierarchies
Let A be a nonassociative algebra such that the associator (A,A^2,A) vanishes. If A is freely generated by an element f, there are commuting derivations delta_n, n=1,2,..., such that delta_n(f) is a nonlinear homogeneous polynomial in f of degree n+1. We prove that the expressions delta_{n_1} ...

The dual roles of CC and CXC chemokines in distinguishing active, latent, and subclinical tuberculosis were reviewed, along with an evaluation of their potential as diagnostic biomarkers and therapeutic targets to advance precision medicine in tuberculosis management. The graphical abstract was generated with AI assistance (Gemini 3.0).
