Applications of Double ARA Integral Transform

open access: yesComputation, 2022
This paper describes our construction of a new double transform, which we call the double ARA transform (DARAT). Our novel double-integral transform can be used to solve partial differential equations and other problems.

Near-invariance under dynamic scaling for the Navier-Stokes equations in critical spaces: a probabilistic approach to regularity problems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
We make a detailed comparison between the Navier-Stokes equations and their dynamically-scaled counterpart, the so-called Leray equations. The Navier-Stokes equations are invariant under static scaling transforms, but are not generally invariant under

Substrate specificity of Burkholderia pseudomallei multidrug transporters is influenced by the hydrophilic patch in the substrate‐binding pocket

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Multidrug transporters BpeB and BpeF from the Gram‐negative pathogen Burkholderia pseudomallei have a hydrophilic patch in their substrate‐binding pocket. Drug susceptibility tests and growth curve analyses using an Escherichia coli recombinant expression system revealed that the hydrophilic patches of BpeB and BpeF are involved in the substrate ...

Extended Reaction Rate Integral as Solutions of Some General Differential Equations

open access: yes, 2010
Here an extended form of the reaction rate probability integral, in the case of nonresonant thermonuclear reactions with the depleted tail and the right tail cut off, is considered. The reaction rate integral then can be looked upon as the inverse of the

Dynamic response of multiple coplanar interface cracks between two dissimilar piezoelectric materials [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
The linear piezoelectricity theory is applied to investigate the dynamic response of coplanar interface cracks between two dissimilar piezoelectric materials subjected to the mechanical and electrical impacts.

Integral transform approach to generalized Tricomi equations

open access: yesJournal of Differential Equations, 2015
We present some integral transform that allows to obtain solutions of the generalized Tricomi equation from solutions of a simpler equation. We used in [13,14],[41]-[46] the particular version of this transform in order to investigate in a unified way several equations such as the linear and semilinear Tricomi equations, Gellerstedt equation, the wave ...

Sequence determinants of RNA G‐quadruplex unfolding by Arg‐rich regions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We show that Arg‐rich peptides selectively unfold RNA G‐quadruplexes, but not RNA stem‐loops or DNA/RNA duplexes. This length‐dependent activity is inhibited by acidic residues and is conserved among SR and SR‐related proteins (SRSF1, SRSF3, SRSF9, U1‐70K, and U2AF1).

Integral Equations of Fields on the Rotating Black Hole [PDF]

open access: yes, 1996
It is known that the radial equation of the massless fields with spin around Kerr black holes cannot be solved by special functions. Recently, the analytic solution was obtained by use of the expansion in terms of the special functions and various ...

Structural instability impairs function of the UDP‐xylose synthase 1 Ile181Asn variant associated with short‐stature genetic syndrome in humans

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The Ile181Asn variant of human UDP‐xylose synthase (hUXS1), associated with a short‐stature genetic syndrome, has previously been reported as inactive. Our findings demonstrate that Ile181Asn‐hUXS1 retains catalytic activity similar to the wild‐type but exhibits reduced stability, a looser oligomeric state, and an increased tendency to precipitate ...
