Volterra integral and differential equations / [PDF]
Most mathematicians, engineers, and many other scientists are well-acquainted with theory and application of ordinary differential equations. This book seeks to present Volterra integral and functional differential equations in that same framwork ...

Condition number estimates for combined potential boundary integral operators in acoustic scattering [PDF]
We study the classical combined field integral equation formulations for time-harmonic acoustic scattering by a sound soft bounded obstacle, namely the indirect formulation due to Brakhage-Werner/Leis/Panic, and the direct formulation associated with the

Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Efficient numerical methods for Volterra integral equations of Hammerstein type [PDF]
Volterra integral equations (VIEs) are the mathematical model of many evolutionary problems with memory arising from biology, chemistry, physics, engineering.

Hypersingular Integral Equations Encountered in Problems of Mechanics
In the paper, for hypersingular integral equations with new kernels, a solution is constructed using an approach based on Chebyshev orthogonal polynomials and the principle of contraction mappings.

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

Analysis of some localized boundary-domain integral equations [PDF]
Some direct segregated localized boundary-domain integral equation (LBDIE) systems associated with the Dirichlet and Neumann boundary value problems (BVP) for a scalar "Laplace" PDE with variable coefficient are formulated and analysed. The parametrix is

Embryo‐like structures (stembryos) are an innovative tool, but they are hindered by experimental variability and limited developmental potential. DNA methylation is crucial for mammalian development, but its status in stembryo models is poorly characterized.

Convergence of a collocation scheme for a retarded potential integral equation [PDF]
Time domain boundary integral formulations of transient scattering problems involve retarded potential integral equations (RPIEs). Solving such equations numerically is both complicated and computationally intensive, and numerical methods often prove to ...
