Hyperspectral integrated computational imaging
Analytical and Bioanalytical Chemistry, 2005In the past, optics has served mainly to render the world more easily visible to humans. Now, computers are increasingly employed to make sense of the visual world in ways that people cannot. With a new generation of optics, scientists and engineers are recasting visual scenes for interpretation exclusively by computers.

An integrated image segmentation/image analysis system
1988The paper describes an integrated image segmentation/image analysis system. A segmentation algorithm which operates by tuning it's output to a pre-defined mathematical optimum is firstly outlined. Implementation of a rule-based image analysis system which makes use of the data computed during the segmentation process is then discussed. A pyramidal data

Towards the integration of images on the Web
Proceedings of International Conference on Information Integration and Web-based Applications & Services, 2013Due to the proliferation of data sources on the Web, information integration has emerged as a research topic of great interest in the scholars community. The crutial challenge is to stitch heterogeneous data together. In addition to formulating the problem of information integration, we sketch a model of information integration system based on the past

Integrated Imaging in Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy
The American Journal of Cardiology, 2017Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HC) has a very heterogeneous clinical spectrum and lends itself to multimodality imaging for evaluation and management. This review addresses clinical applications of cardiac imaging in patients with HC. Integrating various techniques of echocardiography and cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) is discussed in the clinical ...

Integration of transitory image sequences
Proceedings of IEEE Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition CVPR-94, 1994A transitory image sequence is one in which no scene element is visible through the entire sequence. This article deals with some major theoretical and algorithmic issues associated with the task of estimating structure and motion from transitory image sequences. Two representations, world-centered (WC) and camera-centered (CC), behave very differently

Integral image computation on GPU
10th International Multi-Conferences on Systems, Signals & Devices 2013 (SSD13), 2013In this paper we present an integral image algorithm that can run in real-time on a Graphics Processing Unit (GPU). Our system exploits the parallelisms in computation via the NVIDA CUDA programming model, which is a software platform for solving non-graphics problems in a massively parallel high performance fashion.

Multimodal Navigation Integrated with Imaging
2010Intraoperative high-field MRI in combination and close integration with microscope-based navigation serving as a common interface for the presentation of multimodal data in the surgical field seems to be one of the most promising surgical setups allowing avoiding unwanted tumor remnants while preserving neurological function.

Integrating Dialogue Systems with Images
2012The paper presents a novel approach, in which images are integrated with a dialogue interface that enables them to communicate with the user. The structure of the corresponding dialogue system is supported by graphical ontologies and enables the system learning from the dialogues.

Image integration in electroanatomic mapping
Herzschrittmachertherapie & Elektrophysiologie, 2007Over the past five years, integration of the pre-procedural MR/CT images with a 3D electroanatomic mapping system has been developed to facilitate catheter ablation of clinical arrhythmias. It presents a significant advantage over the less-detailed surrogate geometry created by the 3D mapping systems.

An integrated approach to image retrieval
2012 35th International Conference on Telecommunications and Signal Processing (TSP), 2012The usefulness of an image database depends on whether the image of interest can be easily located. Feature extraction is a crucial step of image retrieval. The well known SIFT descriptor is a keypoint based image feature. It can be used to robustly find the same objects in different images, i.e., achieve the object recognition task. However, it is not
