An integrated framework for image classification

2000 IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech, and Signal Processing. Proceedings (Cat. No.00CH37100), 2002
This paper presents a novel method for classifying an image into one of predefined classes in a data bank by applying mutual information to a representation of the Fourier amplitude domain. Template and test images are made translation and rotation invariant through the Fourier-Mellin transform.

Anisotropic Range Image Integration

2012
Obtaining high-quality 3D models of real world objects is an important task in computer vision. A very promising approach to achieve this is given by variational range image integration methods: They are able to deal with a substantial amount of noise and outliers, while regularising and thus creating smooth surfaces at the same time. Our paper extends

Integrating image processing in PACS

European Journal of Radiology, 2011
Integration of RIS and PACS services into a single solution has become a widespread reality in daily radiological practice, allowing substantial acceleration of workflow with greater ease of work compared with older generation film-based radiological activity.

3D resolution enhancement of integral imaging using resolution priority integral imaging and depth priority integral imaging

Three-Dimensional Imaging, Visualization, and Display 2018, 2018
In this paper, we propose a new passive image sensing and visualization of 3D objects using concept of both resolution priority integral imaging (RPII) and depth priority integral imaging (DPII) to improve lateral and depth resolutions of 3D images simultaneously. We suppose that elemental images are the most important information for 3D performance of

Information Integration for the Imaging Specialist

Radiologic Clinics of North America, 1986
Medical imaging is an information business of rapidly increasing complexity. Imaging practice and imaging information support systems are inseparable. How both operate and how they ought to operate can be considered productively in terms of system theory.

Integrated optical imaging system

Applied Optics, 1990
A planar version of a 4f imaging system is described where the input object and the lenses are integrated on one side of a single quartz glass substrate. The lenses were implemented as diffractive lenses with four discrete phase levels.

Integrated image zoom and montage

ACM SIGGRAPH 2006 Research posters on - SIGGRAPH '06, 2006
Standard features of medical image viewers often include zoom & pan, image montage, and blended overlays. Zooming and panning are typically implemented with a convenient real-time mouse interface. For example, dragging while pressing the left mouse button pans, and dragging while pressing the right mouse button zooms. A montage refers to constructing a
